I just reviewed the render for the gun crews with the designer and saw the first prints of the infantry models.

Not the 20mm ones resized... All new 15mm designs... I think you FOW types will be rather pleased...

Do not underestimate the Squats. They survived for millenia cut off from the Imperium and assailed on all sides. Their determination and resilience is an example to us all.

Its just a shame that they couldn't fight off Andy Chambers.

Adrift within the vortex of my imagination.

PIAT crews and Lewis guns in the main infantry box set I hope.

You will need far more PIATS and LMG's than a heavy weapons set can provide with its 4x everything.

I was disappointed the US heavy weapons didn't include the 37mm.

n'oublie jamais - It appears I now have to highlight this again.

I think the Anti-Tank guns will be separate sets. Looking forward to seeing these though.

According the PSC website there is a chance we might see a release this side of Xmas. I certainly hope so.

Unless they are home guard or early war South African troops

I thought the US Heavy Weapons was great value, it came with alot of stuff. I think you might be being a little optomitstic, it would be nice however for him to release an AT Gun set e.g 4 x 37wmm + 4 x 57mm Guns. I could see that as a good pack.

They look to be a bit beefier than PSC's usual infantry releases, this can only be a good thing.

Agreed! I disliked the PSC German infantry because they seemed especially weedy at 15mm, especially the weapons.

If we can get 'next-gen' infantry for other factions, I'd be especially interested to use PSC for infantry as well as vehicles.

Yes, these certainly seem 'chunkier' and more dynamically posed than PSC earlier infantry sets. I like the direction PSC are going in.

I love them now if only they could do some more Russians in the new more dynamic stances.

How many sprues will be in the box? I am assuming 4 or 5 of each?

They look much chunkier and thus would fit in better with peter pig, forged in battle and battlefront stuff. As a battle group player nice to see the right platoon options like the PIAT and mortar, sure its the same for flames of war.

Though not being a British player I hope we see some 'Next Gen' German and Soviet stuff.

I already have four platoons of Battlefront British infantry.

The give me the same vibe as the plastic infantry from the FOW starter. That's a good thing.

They look very nice! Look to have more detail on them than the early German miniatures also.

I wonder if this 'next gen' look will be applied to all their future releases?

Excellent- PSC have nailed this completely, I need these to round out my British 11th AD, and at this price there is no reason I cannot have lots of platoon options.

I'm still not 'sold' on plastic infantry but there's nothing in it between the two plastic ranges now. It's good to see PSC's kits adapt as time goes on correcting the faults in earlier kits (one piece tracks, beefier infantry and so on).

I noticed that too.

The two guys on the left look like they took the exact pose of the German infantry models and then just gave them British Bits instead.

With this box coming out, the Allied Open Fire half just became even more awesome for new guys, since a couple of these boxes would get you a long way towards a full Brit army (or Canadians, Poles, etc.)

Having looked at these I'm really impressed because they can fill weapons crews and AT guns. This is great because I can fill gun teams or staff teams, I don't care about the poses it's good to mix with BF or PP.
