Hey guys, I just went and watched the Ender's Game movie. I wanted to know what you guys thought about it too!

Warning: Book spoilers ahead!

Spoiler:
I had a few major gripes:

1: Bonzo's Death: I was hoping for it to be at brutal as it was in the book, with Ender caving in his face and pulverizing his pelvis. Also, Bonzo is supposed to be 6 inches taller than Ender!

2: They didn't show Valentine and Peter do the blogging! That was a really interesting side-story arc that helped build the foundation of the book. Also, they didn't show the full extent of Peter's sadistic personality, like how he skins squirrels for fun.

3: The ending! I raged so hard when Valentine didn't go with Ender! In the book, they meet on Mars(?) and leave together. I felt they could have spent 5 minutes to do that scene! It made me feel there was no closure for the movie.

I don't usually complain about stuff, especially not on Dakka, but I had to talk about it! I would love to hear what everyone else thought about the movie.

Having not read the book I thought the whole thing was boring and predictable.

I loved the book and the movie.

Yeah, they kind of rushed a few scenes that were supposed to have a lot of impact. The buildup to the twist should have made it look more like the game it was "supposed" to be.
