I m looking into adding one daemon prince of slaanesh into my CD army. I don't want to take the classic daemon prince plastic model and simply do it with that. I was thinking to buy a talos pain DE and convert it. What's your ideas? it would be nice if you could help.

They're still using the 3rd edition Keeper of Secrets, and you're taking up problems with the plastic Daemon Prince? I'd say the armorless build on the plastic kit really suits a slaaneshi army. I 100% recommend you stick with using the official plastic kit.
As for a Keeper of Secrets, however....
I recommend converting the Lady Vashj figure that Blizzard released. The Forge World figure may also be worth it if you have the money.

Ok this is what I thought. I already have a plastic DP made him tzeentch using a an extra arm with staff and made him beak-head.
I ll buy the plastic again and I ll use the armorless body, I ll use a DE ravaged pointy edge for his head, plus adding a whip and make him a robe or something and I ll make him look like silent hills pyramid head. How about that?
Btw I really like the plastic kit. Though because I have a lot of daemons and daemon princes for my flying circus I prefer all of them to be different, not even from the same kits. But with conversion I think I ll achieve the difference.

Spoilered because, in true Slaanesh fashion, it's NSFW.
Tis a Mierce mini which can be bought here. If you're not in one of the regions GW screws over with it's exchange rates it probably won't be cheap but they are very high quality models and easily some of the best greater daemons on the market.

The problem with the 'vote with your dollar' response is that it doesn't take into account why we're not buying the product. I want to enjoy 40k enough to buy back in. It was my introduction to traditional games, and there was a time when I enjoyed it very much. I want to buy 40k, but Gamesworkshop is doing their very best to push me away, and simply not buying their product won't tell them that. |

I just reminds me of this old Slaneesh champion - wish I'd bought him while he was still out (much like many of the companion models from that era):

Utilizing Careful Highlighting

Using nekkid models with all their bits out works pretty well for Slaanesh, but you get a little limited in where it can be used. FLGS owners would prefer their younger customers didn't get an eyeful of alien daemon coochie. If you just game with buddies then it's not really a problem.

Truly amazing model though it looks like KOS than a DP.
The bloodwrack medusa is a great idea though I don't know it's size.
It will look super cool I think wit habit of conversion.
Still the idea of using a plastic DP kit with green stuff/making rags and a whip as also making a pyramid head for the ramming bit edge of DE ravager excites me!

I'm usually not into Slaaneshi busness( hate those)
But if i can recommend a model for a DPrince, it hink this might be perfect.
Now it sure does need a few tweeks.
On the scale it will be a tinier Dprince then the others, but seeing the large monster base this model have, i think it will do nicely.
Just have to add wings to make it a FMC, and you are set, also not forgeting to add chains, hooks and Slaanesh icones.
i actually thing that this model would be te one with the least convertion work required.

Well you are right, this one so really cool. A small pair of wings and some adds with finish the model..

I rather like the Malifaux Nekima model, and have used some of the Reaper Sophie models myself.
You might want to check out this thread, to see if any of those models match what you're going for;
