Hey guys,

just trying to order some dragons to model and convert into fire prisms for a project of mine, so far im considering this as my best choice:

I would probably take it without wings, although not sure.

However, it only stands at 4" tall apparently (from table top), thats what 10cm. Seems too small, which is a shame as the pose is fantastic. they have a metal version (£28) or a plastic cast for like £10. But size is worrying me :/ a fire prism tanks gona be about 4-5" standard GW kit?

Do you have any other suggestions?

Without having one here to reference the High Elves Dragon seems about the right size.

Fits the Eldar aesthetic too.

Well in terms of modelling I am mixing DE and eldar for a grim harlequin project. So they will have the dynamic DE stances but with a sort of dark jester look, so less traditional eldar feel. But yeh I was looking at the high elf dragons too. But I need alternate models to cover atleast 2 fire prisms and a wave serpent. Already got one high elf dragon in mind for the wave serpent.

plan was to remove the rider and have a few models hanging off of chain loops, like the DE venoms and raiders have. Like this:

So for my fire prisms I wanted a more stood up dragon with a reasonable body size to help represent its sheer power. Not sure whether il mount the prism weapon itself on the model, or have it generating a 'breath' style attack.

Although ive just found this in the vampire counts range:

Which has a lovely stance, If I could work this into a 'breath' attack prism with some sort of pulse being built up in its mouth I think it would look sweet. Or I could use its back as the hull platform and mount a fire prism turrent on it and give it some armour plating and chain straps.

But then again this is another beautiful model!

Might have to work that in as either a wave serpent or fire prism!
Id consider leaving it wingless and only double headed, allowing me to utilise the back as a mounting platform for either a prism or plenty of hanging off guardians.
