Hey all, detachments are new for me, and I've got a question:
I happen to have some blood angels death company sitting around and am considering whipping them into shape as an ally for my white scars... I can just do this as long as my scars fulfill the base army requirements?

We have 4 types of detachments now.

1. Primary Detachment (main force) (one)
2. Allied Detachment (ally force) (one)
3. Inquisition Detachment (just for the Inquisition mini-codex) (one)
4. Formation Detachments (any army formations from the Black Library [DLC]) (any number)

You can do so if you take a Blood Angels Allied detachment.

If there is a Death Company detachment released during this month long craziness then you'll be able to do it that way too.

Here we go!!!! Let the madness begin! As of now (so far) you are still limited to the ally matrix, and there is only 1 formation out.
