A quick sketch of something I think would work as a TAC list of Necrons and Grey Knights.

My worries: I feel that the weakness is that the Necron Warriors could get assaulted by a monstrous close combat unit, like such as Blood Angel Sanguinary Guard. However to compensate there's 2x deep striking Grey Knight Strike Squads of 10x men each (who can also claim an objective), a Doom Scythe (it can shoot through close combat) and most important of all: Deathcult Assassins in a Stormraven.

All this would be for naught if I couldn't get my reserves where they need to be, so there's also comms relay -- but to be honest, I don't feel like it's enough.

Finally I know that almost everyone is a big fan of Annihilation Barges, but to be honest I do feel that this list has enough anti-horde, MEQ and TEQ to do without them. If you disagree, let me know (why)! Plus if I went with A-Barges, I'd want two not just one, which is impossible if Necrons are allies since I don't have two Heavy Support choices -- so I went with a Doom Scythe instead.

Necrons H.Q.:
→ 1x Overlord, Resurrection Orb
Necron Troops:
→ 20x Warriors [March straight towards the midfield objective]
→ 10x Warriors & Ghost Ark [Supports the 20x Warriors]
Necron Heavy Support:
→ Doomscythe

Grey Knight Fortification:
→ 1x Aegis Defence Line, Comms Relay
Grey Knight H.Q.:
→ Coteaz [Sits behind the Aegis Defence Line]
Grey Knight Troops:
→ 8x Deathcult Assassins, 2x Crusaders [Embarked in Stormraven]
→ 2x Jokaero Weaponsmiths, 7x Warrior Acolytes, 7x Boltguns [Bodyguard Coteaz]
→ 2x Jokaero Weaponsmiths [Behind Aegis Line]
→ 10x Grey Knights, 2x psycannons, 1x hammer, psybolt [Reinforce where needed; Deep Strike; Claim objectives]
→ 10x Grey Knights, 2x psycannons, 1x hammer, psybolt [Reinforce where needed; Deep Strike; Claim objectives]
Grey Knight Fast Attack:
→ Stormraven Gunship with Lascannon & multi-melta

There's no question that GK/Cron lists can work really well. I think this would work fine.

I have a couple of thoughts:
a) It always seems a shame to see an overlord without WS, SW, MSS. The ability to detach the overlord and go and counter assault something is really useful, but I wouldn't try it with a 3+.

b) For Coteaz bodyguard, a couple of special weapons would help with IBEY, as you don't have a quad gun.

I hear you on the AB, but have had really mixed results with the doomscythe. Maybe consider a doomsday ark if you have one? You'll have plenty of cheap bodies to bubble wrap it against melta?

hth.
