What do you use as objective markers in your games?

Where can people get some?

Just wanted to see what dakka dakka has to say.

P.s. I use two marines glued on coke bottle lids, painted gold to look like statues.

Not a tutorial.

Random spare models or random bits like those teleport homers from terminator boxes.

Wait would this have been better posted in tutorials? I'm new and I thought you don't put question on that forum. sorry.

Its no biggy. just PM a mod to move.

Its a general question (though seems to be for 40k) so ask to be moved to 40k general discussions.

I use tau gun drones, almost exclusively.

I also bought the green tokens GW sells (I can never remember if a vehicle is shaken) and they have unassuming objective markers.

I use Eldar relic doo-dads and random bits of schtuff - for my Eldar army.

For my brother's army I made objective markers out of smashed up IG guardsmen that look like slaughtered troops.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

I took some of the flags that they include in space marine bits, and painted them up and put them on bases.

I like to say I have two armies: Necrons, and Imperium.....

I made these on a 3d printer.

The the lower section has a number for games where objectives have point values and the "cap" hides the number and I have made a number of them with different themes. I have caps for Imperial Fists and Tau in addition to these Ultramarine ones. They are about the same size as a poker chip.

I use poker chips. I either use some good old tape and write a number on it then flip it over, or just write on the poker chip itself.

The heavy, ceramic versions are the best, not the cheap, thin plastic ones.

Usually miniatures from Infinity. Gives me a reason to put those super pretty models on the table, plus my Haqqislam look like militia, which is great when my Tyranids are usually fighting Dark Eldar. The poor guys have no good options.

Perhaps not the most graceful solution, but my friends and I just use pennies, nickels or quarters.
