Ok so was just wondering but I know there are themed (or Tier lists IIRC) lists out there for all army's and was just wondering where I could find Cygnars, as I have plenty of trenchers, and would like to use a themed list around them

2nd, in the Forces of Warmachine: Cygnar book, several No Quarters and on War Room are the places you can find the theme lists. From memory eHaley and eCaine have theme lists involving a lot of Trenchers, and I can't remember who else.

This is for the casters who were released at the start of 2nd ed. For the newer casters like Constance and Nemo3 they are in the appropriate expansion book.

eCaine has a theme force in the Forces of Cygnar-book, but he doesn't take any Trenchers.

Brisbanes theme force (also in Forces of Cygnar) does Trenchers though. Do you have any Trencher weapon crews?

No but I plan on buying some and thanks for the info, I thought Brisbane would have fitted the trencher theme

When you get the weapon crews make sure you pick up a Master Gunner solo as well, because Brisbanes Tier 2 lets you take one of those for free

The "Warroom" mobile app for iOS and Android will have the most comprehensive & updated list. As it has all currently released ones and will continue to be updated as more are added from other sources like NQ and Expansions.

Of course you can buy these things and Forces of Warmachine: Cygnar as the other players have said but they're all more expensive options than the app.

Yeah it is a NQ list for eCaine, called 'Streetsweepers' or something like that. eHaleys is 'Gravediggers' from memory

Second the Siege idea. Love me some siege brisbane. Does lots of cool stuff and isn't so good that people get mad at you for playing him in a casual game.

By the way, his spell foxhole drops a template that has models inside it not count for line of sight... you can put this over enemy models. Just saying. That should get a surprised look the first time you make the colossal disappear from in front of the opposing warcaster.

Ok thanks just wondering as this will be my second attempt into getting into warmachine, but when do you pop a feat in a Warcaster activation, is it before movement or before the other activation?

I dunno. My friends got tired of me playing Siege all the time. When you can one shot people from up to 19" away and ignore a lot of things like forests, stealth, other models it can get nasty. Not as bad as the MHSF, but siege can get LOS pretty easy.

That said I really like Siege as a caster. He is very toolboxy so you have a lot of options for all the things that you run into as you learn. He packs a punch on his own and can win a game all by himself. He also has a good ARM and decent boxes so isn't as squishy as a lot of casters. He can sometimes survive the random assassination shot you will eventually fall into as you learn.

The one thing he doesn't do really well if share his focus and buff his troops. He can run one defender or stormwall, but that is really it. You also will want a Squire and Reinholdt. You want troops and solos who are pretty self sufficient.

So... B13? that's a really good solo unit as Ive learned

What I need is a good CC unit, I have majority of shooty units but no CC units, and people keep on telling me to use Forgegurad, and whilst I have no problems with using that unit I feel more towards the Silverline Stormguard, as one of the things that really got me into Cygnar was all the Tesla-Steampunk Trenchers and Knights and looking at those knights, they seem really good to me and would be very useful with siege as I read their rules..

How I play Siege is to use his army as a speedbump and let him do the heaviest lifting himself. In that vein I would go with Precursors, Boomhowlers or the Silverline. From what I have heard about forgegaurd they are not a frontline tarpit type of unit without protection buffs and speed buffs.

B-13 is an excellent use of 4 points.

A common 35 point Siege list that would make a good starting point might look something like this:

Siege
Squire
Reinholdt
Defender

Rangers

ATGM + UA
Jack marshaled defender or hunter

Precursors/boomhowlers/silverline

I don't think that is exactly 35 points and it depends on your tarpit unit and the jack you marshall. If you have extra points add in Rhupert and/or B13.
