OK, so, TBH the models/units that draw me the most are pyskers, I LOVE THEM. that being said, fluff wise I love the T-sons, though I usually don't like Tzeentch (sometimes he is portrayed as tolerable) thoughts on a pyker/T-son based army? winnablilty, (including a DP ofc. and A lot of sorcerers)

I hear nurgle is one of the strongest "theme based armies" atm. I don't particularly like the thought of bloated marines with puss, but something about nurgle does draw towards me.

Khorne is the least desriable imo, (no psykers :( )

Slannesh is... well... Slannesh. lol

any help with where to start/go is appreciated.

Nurgle is not particularly strong relative to the others, per se. Nurgle Spawn and Nurgle Obliterators are strong. Plague Marines have very little punch for their points, but are a good durable scoring unit. However, the other factions have their own units going for them.

If psykers are your thing and you want to do CSM's, start with Be'lakor. Bring a second unmarked Sorcerer on a bike with ML3 and run him with either bikers, or preferably Nurgle Spawn. Have him roll biomancy so you can cast Endurance on Be'lakor. If TSons is how you want to go (it would be better if you didn't) mark him Tzeentch and take a single squad of TSons in a Rhino with a havoc launcher. Get ten cultists, maybe one more unit of CSM's in a rhino, two Heldrakes, an allied Lord of Change and Tzeentch Prince and Horrors and you have the army you're looking for.

4 hq's?

I'd just forget the Thousand Sons completely. Ahriman is meh.

Take a Demon Prince HQ, A Sorcerer on a bike with burning brand, ally in Black Legion and take a Demon Prince with the nova artifact. Throw in some cultists and CSM squads to your liking.

Everywhere at once..

I recently joined the game and I'm building a Chaos Undivided warband! Lords of nurgle and slaanesh with PM, NM, Chosen, RT, Possessed, and Tank hunting attack bikes. I also have a sorcerer of tzeentch that I attempt to play but still have not hit my stride with him yet.

I am changed . . . an outcast now.

I do love the tsons but man, the egyption crap looks pretty rediculous imho. I think it is plenty doable, it may not be the most competitive but thats not what the game is about, its about having fun and getting into your army...for me at least.

I think that Thousand Sons are still somewhat usable with AP3 bolters and a good Inv saves. With sorcerer of Tzeentch they are Troops and can hold an objective while popping Marines.

That, and the fact that they always make me think about Subway and I become hungry...
