Well, I love this set up. I use to own this many tanks but a dog within the family chewed them all to bits. I made a pun. HQ: CCS - 4 MG OotF Chimera - HF Troops: Vets - 3 MG Chimera - HF Vets - 3 MG Chimera - HF Vets - 3 MG Chimera - HF Fast: 2x Vendetta Heavy: 2x LRBT - Camo Net 1 Punisher - Pask, HBS, Stubber, camo net (out of 32 rounds, Pask has 24 that land regularly. Now apply that many hits at S5 to a MC, WITH rerolls to wound) 2 Executioner - MMS, Pretty self explanatory, and I love a good armored column.

tbh I prefer LRBT over demolisher, but thats me (or, I hate being on the receiving end of the LRBT as much as the demo. and the other is cheaper.)

If you are gonna get a tank army why not get hydras instead? So much cooler as it will match the rest of your army.

That is something to consider, I like the idea of having artillery but traditional tank shock doctrine calls for lots of tanks, lots of mean and nasty tanks. Hydras have no value as the shock comes from all of this armor being put on the field so I can play peekabo with heavy armor from across the table where as a medusa can only reach 3 feet, The trade off is I deploy 12" inches in and I can hit their table edge but that leaves no wiggle room for range. I agree with the LRBT comment, at this size I am highly tempted to strip out some of those meltaguns and put them into a tech priest. Though I will test with a stand-in first before I drop money on a desk decoration. Now the last order of business is either, Steel Legion, Vostroyan, Mordian, or Catachan troops. I've owned Vostroyans, Cadians, and Catachans before so I may go with Steel Legion or Mordian. Such decisions. I could be sadistic and slowly collect Kasrkin or even storm trooper models.

If this is a tank shocking IG army then why do you have camo netting on your russes? they should be moving up with the chimeras to tank shock. if the tank moves it doesnt benefit from tank shock. Camo nettting only works if the tank remained stationary. The heavy rule states that a tank counts as being stationary for determining what weapons to fire. It does not apply to moving.

I am not talking about ramming them. I plan to abuse every single inch of dirt between me and them. I will never put AV10/11 vs a space MAHREN power fist. I will grind them down with the guns of the Guard. I can't field the number of tanks to not care about ramming losses at a mere 2k. Now If they were scoring and using troop choices then this matter would not be of issue.

I would really recommend plasma cannon sponsons and a lascannon on your Executioners, you have more than enough melta already anyway.
Also, if your group is fine with it, there's no reason not to take an ABG detachment to get your Russes out of their squadrons

The owner is pretty stiff on regards to the rules of deployment. Most of the time he keeps it below 2k for big tournaments so we can't do double force org. The only reason I object to plasma sponsons as with my luck I will nuke my own tanks and I have already done that before. (I rolled snake eyes 4x a row in one game today.)

First, I would drop the punisher. It's got cool factor, and I own one. I used it a lot. And it failed a lot. I just couldn't justify the point sink for what it just failed to do. If you want a punisher cannon in your army, invest in a Vulture Gunship. BS4 and twin-linked, for half the price. Chews up everything.
With that gone, break up the Executioner squadron into two separate executioners. Add plasma sponsons. You may be afraid of the gets hot, but stuff happens. Two sets of five plasma blasts firing at two different targets is far better than six at one. You could wipe out two marine squads per turn if rolls are good. Down to one hull point on them? Don't fire the sponsons. Fortune favors the bold.
Drop the camo nets. Period. Never saw a need for them.
Now, you should have enough points left over to add two more vet squads, no chimera, and throw them in the vendettas. For a total of five troop choices.
Also, drop the MotF and take an Astropath instead. Get those vendettas on the board as soon as possible.
