Hi, just had a game with my Sisters and got charged by some Eldar. The Autarch challenged my Priest and I declined.

Firstly, does my battle hymn still go off? I argued it did because it's rolled for at the start of the assault phase.

Secondly, can wounds still be allocated to the priest if it declined the challenge?

Thanks in advance.

The only penalties for declining a challenge is the model cannot make attacks, and three unit cannot use their leadership. As such yes, you can still use the Hymns, and wounds can still be allocated to the priest.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

They were precision strikes, but even if they weren't would the wounds have had to be allocated to the priest in base contact with the autarch? I don't think you move the declinee out of base contact?
