Hi guys, looking for opinions on a low point level flying circus list, thanks.

HQ
Fate weaver
Daemon Prince of Slaanesh - 1 Exalted (Grimoire) , 1 Greater, Wings, Armour Mastery level 3 (Rolling Biomancy)
640 pts

Troops
Pink Horrors x11
Pink Horrors x11
198 pts

Fast Attack
Flesh Hounds x5
Flesh Hounds x5
160 pts

Total 998

One possibility for change is swapping out the Slaanesh Prince for a Tzeentch one in heavy support. Being Tzeentch may make him a little more durable, but he would have to take one of his powers from the Tzeentch list to get a decent ranged attack. He would also be more useful in Big Guns scenario, however I would have to drop 1 horror from each squad to afford him.

Any thoughts?

what happens vs armies with 3-4+ deny the witch?

I intended on the Slaanesh DP and hounds to counter things that have high deny the witch. Slaanesh DP has a non-psychic ranged attack and is pretty fearsome in cc as well.

Besides the horrors however, there are not many things that would deny a lvl 3 or 4 psyker on a 3 or a 4+

true, the Lvl 3/4 are ok, but there are tons of ML 3 characters out there.

So you don't like the horrors then? What would you take instead?

Horrors imo are the best daemon troop choice. They are the only one which puts threat out at range, are as durable as plaguebearers when they go to ground in the right place however they are still able to run.

its not that I don tlike them, but I have never seen them actually DO things. all the heavy lifting I have seen has been done by either khorne dogs or screamers.

Yeah that would be true in most cases. Its just nice that they have the option to try and do something, as opposed to plaguebearers, who just sit on an objective all game.

Horrors when taken with a herald and supported with divination can be pretty lethal however, fairly expensive at around 300 points, but it would show you horrors actually doing something (unless your opponent is very good at passing deny the witch rolls ofc).

two squads of 5 dogs won't do much... You're honestly better off turning them into a large squad of daemonettes, or even like 13 seekers of slaanesh. To make the dog list viable you really need them in large blobs.
