Just wondering, even if the ultramarine Primarch is poisned/wounded, why can't they put him into some kinda of super-dreadnaught instead of just in stasis?

Some people say he's healing, others say the Ultramarines consider it silly that he's still alive, and only uneducated pilgrims believe he will come back. Others say Trazyn has Guilleman in his gallery. I have no idea what to believe anymore when it comes to him.

Guilleman died in the heresy. That's Omegron in his uniform slowly healing. It's a sinister, long-term plot.

Or is it Alpharius?

Maybe Alphas/Omegon is waiting to be dreadnoughtified?

He's not at the kind of injury where he can be put into a dreadnought. His head's about to fall the feth off.

When it comes to Doctor Bile, "fix" is such a... loaded term.

^Damn, you beat me to it. But how badly do you need to be wounded to earn yourself a dreadnought?

You need to be at a state where a life-support system, other than trapping you completely out of the flow of time, is capable of sustaining your life.

So, basically, what kronk said.

Fire-blackened, charred corpse is too far.

This is too far:

Eh, some stitches and he'll be fine - Mad Doc Grotsnik

But ya, I'd say decapitation could be quite the issue.

Well, I thought Guilliman's wound was really just a small cut. The real problem is that it's hinted that he was wounded by the Anathame, the same sentient blade that laid low Horus...and he only survived (or did he?) because the Chaos Gods stepped in to save him.

Yeah, the Anathame does produce some sort of toxin specifically designed to slay whomever it's been told to kill.

But this thread is not about how close he is to death, it is about whether he could be dreadnoughtified, and since we can't agree on how bad is his neck wound, does anyone know if dreadnoughts can be built with a poisoned pilot?

Whatever the cause of his wounds, the only reason Guilliman isn't dead yet is because he's in that stasis field. The second they turn off the field, he's dead as a door-nail. Dreadnoughts really only keep alive people who've been mangled in body, but are still of sound mind. No life support system can heal or maintain a dead brain.

It kinda is about how close to death he is.
As soon as he comes out of stasis he is dead.

I vote no on the dreadnought then, and question why they still have him around.

As much as I like the Idea of a few Primarchs coming back around, there is no way the story for rowboat girlyman makes any sense :/

bahhh my bad, I forgot to factor in space magic. In that case, I predict Girlyman will be freed from his stasis, only to burst into an entire legion's worth of Squats who are all blue skinned, and are literal smurfs. This is my request GW, BL, FW and whomever else might see this. Make it happen!

He's the Primarch of the Ultramarines...
Barring a few other figures (Horus and the Emperor being two of them) he probably has more to do with the current state of the Imperium than anyone else.
Outside of that he is also the genetic primogenitor of 60% of all SM around today.

fixed that for ya lol. either way, I don't think he would even FIT in a dreadnaught sarcophagus, after all he is what, 2 ft taller than most other ultramarines?

I'm reasonably sure it's 60%.
For a primarch? The Mechanicus would happily make him a custom dreadnought sarcophagus. Though I think they amputate the legs and arms of an interred dreadnought pilot.
