So.... Got my iguana and love it. However, as I'm getting ready to base it I realized it's really far too big for a 40mm base. I was thinking about placing him on a 50mm base from Sedition Wars, but wasn't sure if this poses any kind of rules problems. Does it?

Only in terms of CC.
The extra 10mm will mean you might be in b2b when you aren't (because while movement distances are measured centre-to-centre, there's that extra 5mm radius to take into account as well.).

I'll be getting mine shortly. I'm just going to build the upper surface of the base up a tad, in order to take care of the overhang, yet still sit onto a 40mm base.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).

So rules woes that's not a biggy. Cool. Good to know.

I ended up actually doing a base similar to what it looks like in the studio model, but when I went to start sculpting the base so it matches the rest of my crap I couldn't find my green stuff. Balls.

Rules-wise, well, I'd stick to as close to 'studio' as possible:

Can anyone tell me what that crotch piece is supposed to be?

It's where the pilots legs go.

Like the hammock on a hang-glider for the pilot's legs.

The pilot's legs DON'T go into the TAG legs in the iggy.

Apparently they do. The art book has a good little piece about it:

Iguana is on the left, Gecko is on the right.
There is a reason that the upper leg on the Iguana is so heavily armored.

I don't necessarily agree that it was a great idea, but still.

In regards to the bases, you're supposed to have a "base extender" in your box. It's a weird oblong/crescent piece that attaches to the outside and would have a single foot on it. The rule apparently is that "models must be based with the bases they came with" and it annoys me to no end that they have not introduced a larger base for TAGs.

In that case, the codpiece is where he packs his lunch.

It's not called a "lunchbox" for no reason ...

(I don't have the artbook. I didn't consider it worth the money and didn't want the mini, either. Not that I don't like artbooks - but I have a plethora of cyberpunk-y artbooks and prints already, and I don't need to see more art prints inspired by the stuff I already have.).

It is supposed to come with a base extender, seems like the first batch were missing them though.

So I guess I didn't get any extender nubs, so I just ended up making my own from a spare 25mm Infinity Base. I tried to sculpt it to match my other Secret Weapon Urban Streets bases that I have all my other Infinity stuff on, and I think it turned out okay. I'm no master sculptor, but it appears that I'm at least competant enough to do a simple base

Something like every 1 in 15 Iguanas did not come with the extender.

You did not miss much, in my opinion, as personally I hate the things.

On an Express Elevator to Hell!!

Looks very good Cincydooley, think it will be indistinguishable from the other bases.

Make sure you post some pics when you have done some work on the TAG!
