Little Rule Book page 8:

For one model to have line of sight to another, you must be able to trace a straight, unblocked line from it's EYES to any part of the targets body (the head, torso, arms or legs).

How do you like your TLoS now?

The fun really begins when you start to think about the next paragraph and The One Important Exception. I'll leave you to read it.

Done reading it? Ready to brush up on previous editions yet?

Just to make sure, lets look in the book and see what it has to say about Vehicles and TLoS!

Go to page 72 now and read the section titled Vehicle Weapons and Line of Sight.

Hmmm. Nope, all that applies to vehicles... Maybe Walkers? Lets check all the other Unit Types and see what they say about Line of Sight.

Well. I don't know what your reading yielded but all I found was the part about Walkers.

Seems like vehicles are able to fire pretty freely, but I didn't find anything else about Line of Sight, did you?

Gets along better with animals... Go figure.

I was able to win a crushing victory on the weekend by denying my opponents units the ability to shoot because they were wearing helmets.

Sometimes you can't take the RaW too literally.

I can't really tell what your getting at through your overwhelming condescension and smarm, but from the title I'm guessing you're implying that infantry models can't shoot at units behind them because the line of sight is blocked by their own head. If so, I'd like you to read the important exception again, and ask yourself this question.

"Is a firing model a member of his own unit?"

No.Just No. If you want to get technical, the model's own unit does not block LoS, which would include the firing model. meaning he can draw LoS from his eyes THROUGH the back of his head.

Darkcloak, What is your rules question?

Your post seems unclear, what exactly are you asking?

Hellturkeys can shoot 360, i think its just implied that a giant flying dragon thing can move its head. I get what you are saying but it seems like spliting hairs to me. In that case you could start expecting transports to literaly fit all their models inside them etc etc.

For what purpose, exactly? Every previous edition of the game has also drawn LOS from the model's eyes to the target.

And yes, that has meant in every edition that models can't see something behind them, unless you go with the interpretation that they can draw LOS through their own head.

I'm not seeing an actual rules question here. Moving on.
