My list is a very simple one, and I simply would like to know what other people would do for Kill Team if they were Orks.

My list: 8 Warbikerz.
That's it.

What has worked for past Dakkanauts who have played Orks in Kill Teams?

I've not played Orks in KT yet, though I've list-hammered some for the future for the Orks I do have and played plenty of KT with other sides.

I've said this elsewhere but I heartily recommend making one of them a specialist with the SMASH! rule, AP2 in CC and the option to double the base strength is just awesome on Bikers. Everyone underestimates their reach and it makes them really handy for 'sniping' specialists or Leaders.

One problem that you do have is that you're only LD 7, which makes you dangerously close to only having a 50% chance of passing a break test, so I'd say if your opponent is ok with allowing the Boss Pole to function as normal, then go with 7 bikes, one upgraded to a Nob with a Bosspole and Big Choppa, who could be your SMASH specialist for the juicy ID s9 vs marines.

This is for a small tournament, so I'm not sure whether or not the Tourny Organizer will let the BP act normally. If he says they will allow it, though, I will do that
And I didn't know about the Smash rule... Gonna have to try that! Thank you kindly, sir!

How does morale work in Killteam? Aren't they all separate units after turn 1? Do they still test after 25% casualties?

Think about throwing armor bane on one of them- it turns S5 shots into legitimate anti-tank.
