So im looking for a new hobby project. Ive had a few floating around in my head for about a month now. And with christmas coming up im gonna treat myself to something.

A while ago I seem to remember noticing some khorne centurions ... or at least a photoshopped image of a centurion done in a khorne style and it got me wanting to A: Try it myself and B: Do the other gods. This is a slightly sucky thing as the kit only makes 3 so I would have to leave one out but thats a question for another day.

So my task to you fellow Dakkians ... Dakkites ... is to help me find some inspiration for other people chaos centurions, or other converted centurions. Im also interested into the plasability of reposing the model. I like the model but i'm not fond of the pose at all. So to those that have built the kit ... how easy does it look to say, bend a leg or something. Ive looked at the sprues online and cant seem to make anything out without actually picking up the models.

Even if a repose it out of the question it'll still be interesting to convert some chaos centurions, especially to a particular god. I picture nurgle being a hooded figure, more vents out of the back and some sort of respirator head, beaten armour. I wouldnt mind giving khorn some variety of flail mainly, swinging it above his head. I think tzeentch would be riddled with warp flames and armour covered in magical glyphs, while id take example from noise marines for a slaaneshi centurion. All ideas at this moment, they may end up on paper as a sketch at some point

Do you ever feel like you say too much?

You might be talking about the WE Centurions of my buddy Krautscientist over at Throne of Skulls and on the eternal hunt blog.

Yes those are the khorne centurions I was looking at! And that tutorial is a beaut. Good to know its not too difficult to make em less static than the base kit
