So, Platoon I holds the home objectives in their fort, protected by hard cover, stubborn LD10, Coteaz' pseudo interceptor + prescience on any deepstriking/drop podding units, and actual Interceptor from all 4 Vengeance Gun Platforms easily capable of swatting flyers and FMC's from the heavens, while pounding hard MC's like Riptides and Wraith Knights at long range.
While they're defending Platoon II outflanks and wipes something off an objective, kills tanks or obliterates other intruders. The second Inquisitor is attached to them purely so they're almost unbreakable - as much as I'd like to upgrade him I can't find the points and the upgrades are a bit too situational; but LD10 stubborn whilst sitting on those captured objectives means the odds of the enemy pushing them off it with something like a tank shock, lucky fire and a failed LD8 check is far less. I learned this was necessary after I lost a 3 point victory in a tournament 2 days ago because a 30 man Al'Rahem platoon was tankshocked off an objective by a stunned Whirlwind.
Also, this is for an official GW Tournament up at Warhammer World. I don't care for comments on whether people will play it.
