I've always kind of disliked the majority of the helmets that come with the CSM box. As of today, I have three boxes that need building, and I'm really wishing I had replacement heads. Especially for the tall horned helmets.

Could you guys suggest some bits sellers with better helmets for my CSM?

Also, I already know about Maxmini's steam marine heads, and though they would do, I'd like some options.

Uhm, not a bit shop, but maybe an idea: have you seen the raptor/warp-talon-box? Best helmets in the game if you ask me.

I would suggest the Forge World Sons of Horus heads. May be just me but I think they are awesome!

Yeah, Raptors have some really nice chaos helmets.

Personally, I'm using a mix of raptor, FW, and a few Marine/CSM here and there.


Also, I wish they had done chaos looking like the Sons of Horus line- feel that those perfectly capture chaos without just a bunch of spikes and gargoyles.

Can you order the FW helmets by them selves? I thought they only came with the upgrade kits.

Puppetswar has some interesting chaos heads.

You might also try Anvil Industries. They have a range of non-chaos heads, but you might find something you like none-the-less.

Sorry for the misunderstanding- in both cases they're either scrounged from other projects or traded for.

You can however get the sons of horus heads separately, though that's the exception to the rule.
