I dislike this franchise because of their stereotypical and racist portrayal of Scandinavians. This is the 21st century, how about a little bit of subtlety and nuance in our films instead of falling back again and again on threadbare use of harmful tropes and racially insensitive archetypes?

Not seen the first film but read the book. From what I can tell there's almost no resemblance.

For once, the movie is SO much better then the book. And I prefer books.

Its like World War Z IMHO opinion, takes only a bit from the book, but should not be compared to it.
