Is there anything in Stronghold Assault that can be used for Tyranids? I was thinking of a project and make some Tyranid terrain but use "counts as" for buildings in Stronghold Assault. Before I buy it, I want to make sure it would be worth it for me to do so. Not asking for rules, but to see if there are buildings or rules that can be used for Tyranids. Can I use these rules as "counts as" if I scratch build the buildings so it looks Tyraniddy. If there is can you give examples without posting the rules.

I'll run through the ones I think you could benefit from. I'm not sure about your ability to use guns and other such things (changing the skyshield config). I'll just assume for now you can't.

Aegis defence line - cheap cover for your snooty gribblies. Add tanglewire, barricades, or tank traps.

Bastion - same as above plus better line of sight. Don't get to use the heavy bolters though. Add tanglewire, barricades, tank traps, or a void shield.

Skyshield landing pad - 4++, would have to be put down closed I guess. Add barricades, tanglewire, or tank traps.

Imperial Strong point - take all the above stuff and put it together.

Wall of martyrs defence line - same as aegis, adds stubborn. Add tanglewire, barricades or tank traps.

Wall of martyrs defence emplacement - same as above, plus reroll heavies on overwatch. Add tanglewire, barricades or tank traps.

Wall of martyrs imperial bunker - half the size of the bastion, same benefits plus 4 models per firepoint. Add tanglewire, barricades or tank traps.

Firestorm redoubt - 2 quad lascannons automated at bs2. Other than that it is pretty much 2 bunkers. Add tanglewire, barricades, tanktraps, magos machine spirit, or void shield

Vengeance battery - Automated punisher Gatling cannon(s)(replace with quad Icarus lascannon or battle cannon). Add barricades, tanglewire or tank traps.

Wall of Martyrs imperial defence network - take the above 5 stuff and put it together.

Promethium relay - pyrovores with torrent? Add barricades, tanglewire, tanktraps.

Void shield generators - look it up. Add extra shields, barricades, tanglewire or tank traps.

Void relay network - take the above 2 and add them together, then add more void shields.

Fortress of redemption - occupy the main tower and the weapons can be set on automated fire for a price. Missile silo, Icarus lascannon, 4 heavy bolters. Add void shields, magos machine spirit, tanglewire, tanktraps, or barricades.

And that's it. The other pieces don't have enough benefit for you.

This is based on my somewhat limited knowledge of the rules governing tyranids and fortifications.

Thanks a lot Kingleir greatly appreciated. That is a lot of options, I could use. I will have to get this.

Thank you very much once again.

The WOM defense emplacement would provide no benefits to Nids since the entire codex uses assault weapons

You are right about that part of it but, it is 40 point cheaper than the line if you dont need that much space. And a new codex may bring new rules.
