DaveC wrote: Good luck hopefully you get the UK rate, still not sure about the Republic of Ireland being the same as US and Canada and more than Andorra or Monaco! but I spoke to Jed about it and he said that's what the courier company came back with and that's a maximum cost. As I'm going for just resin I hope the pack will be below 2kg and it'll just be Royal Mail at cost.
EDIT: They confirmed Northern Ireland is UK rate £6
I know so many people from border counties who get theirstuff delivered to NI to get cheaper/free postage, especially from Amazon lol! Six pounds is awesome, I'll probably add on some more bits and pieces.

...how much is that scatter, exactly? I'm in for a Work for All level, and I'm actually not at all sure of how much do the resin inserts or the scatter packs cost.
But my god, that scatter terrain looks glorious.

They put up a table work 4 all with resin everything is an extra £61.25
There's more resin packs to come for the interior panels and exterior stuff and vehicles they weren't expecting to be this far ahead so they haven't done the graphics yet.

A nice and simple stretch goal for the £50,000.00 level now that the add-on habitat prices are available is to extend the building stretch bonus items, to all add-on Habitats.
This means that after we hit £50,000.00 all Habitats, including add-ons, would now go out with Card-ends, Translucent doors/Windows, Mirrored Solar Panels and your choice of if you want them pristine or weathered.

The Meerkat is a lovely kit, good deal for £13.50. The wheel assembly is a bit of a pain though (it has no axles, so you have to fit 4 boom arms in a way that keeps all 4 wheels on the ground).
I'd love a Samsara, but £30 after a discount? Hmm.
Edit: Where are all the vehicles on the AW webstore? I'm sure there used to be double that amount.

“Good people are quick to help others in need, without hesitation or requiring proof the need is genuine. The wicked will believe they are fighting for good, but when others are in need they’ll be reluctant to help, withholding compassion until they see proof of that need. And yet Evil is quick to condemn, vilify and attack. For Evil, proof isn’t needed to bring harm, only hatred and a belief in the cause.”

Does anyone know if they're going to offer the exterior resin building pieces as stand alone addons? I want the air ducts, vents, lights, control panels and solar panels to fancy up the buildings I already have.

I haven't seen any mention but there might. There are enough exterior pieces though that you could probably use a couple from the pieces for other items though.

I asked and yes they are.

Opening up new pledges for new backers...

Expansion Plan:
Short Version:
New Pledges to be released Thursday Midnight UK time (end of day Thursday)
Long Version:
With the heavy demand for more top-tier pledges we are going to embark on an extension and upgrade plan for certain pledges. We can do this as we have purchased new laser systems and have thus increased our capacity for laser cutting production.
Our main goal here is to let new backers in to the Forward Base Kickstarter with as little disruption to existing backers. So we are going to add a set of new pledges and some very limited upgrade options for some existing backers.
1) Wave 1 “Power Strain” backers can now get “Power Strain PLUS” and WAVE 1 “Forward Base” backers can now get “Forward Base PLUS” by increasing their pledge values to the appropriate pledge values – Do NOT cancel your pledge for a new one.
2) On Thursday night at Midnight (i.e. the end of the day on Thursday) we will release a WAVE 3 set of pledges. These are all new pledges. WAVE 3 delivery dates are posted as September 2015 but will be aimed at an earlier dispatch.
3) You cannot upgrade from one pledge type to another pledge type i.e. you cannot upgrade from Power Strain PLUS to Forward Base PLUS or from any lower pledge to any higher pledge.
That would cause serious issues for everything, so is just not possible..'that way lies madness'...
4) Once the new pledges have gone out, we will re-assess and possibly release further building-only pledges. We will see if we can swing things so that WAVE 2 “Power Strain” and “Forward Base” might be able to upgrade to the related PLUS version. That is not guaranteed to happen… it comes down to a lot of spreadsheet work and time calculations with a lot of variables.
There will be no further PLUS packages of this type available after this point.
5) PLEASE remember that we have no control over pledge allocation – so if you drop an existing pledge to attempt to get a ‘better’ pledge and cannot do so, then return to find your original pledge has gone – there is absolutely nothing we can do about that. It would be entirely at your own risk…and, please, do consider that as a possibility.
Also please bear in mind that if you drop a wave 1 or 2 pledge to get a WAVE 3 pledge this will mean that you move into WAVE 3 delivery schedule. Your pledge and wave are inexorably tied to one another.
So, what we would ask is that you view this as a few very limited bonus chances and a good opportunity for new backers to enter the Kickstarter… that is how we are looking at this: a chance to open up to new backers without disadvantaging existing backers.
With your continued support we've passed the £50,000.00 mark and so have enabled the building stretch bonuses to now be included with the add-on buildings.
Meaning that any building ordered will now come with Acrylic Windows, mirrored solar panels, cards-end and your choice of pristine or weathered. This is in addition to the resin doors and windows which you will still receive.
£65,000.00 Stretch Goal
The next stretch goal is a little bit bigger and to unlock TOPOs excellent Super-Hawk Drop-ship which can be seen in this YouTube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oteKWEYPbuY
This model has been available as a paper-model for some years now in the Infinity community as the "Chiken-Hawk" and proven to be very popular, Marcus aka "TOPO" has very kindly allowed us to reproduce it now in resin and for that has completely re-designed it to take advantage of the new material, producing a drop-ship with a really distinctive style.
At around 9 inches long its also pretty big, but you can just squeeze it onto the top of your Tower (Habitat 7), so it fits in excellently as part of a Forward Base.
New Pledges:
We will now be releasing a new WAVE (3) of Top-tier pledges on Thursday at midnight UK time as part of an ongoing expansion scheme to create more pledges for those who missed out on the opening day (or hour!).
More details on that will come out in a separate update...but make a note of that time: midnight Thursday 20th November (and if I have my times right: about 4pm in California, 6pm Dallas and around 11am (21st) in Australia.
Other points of interest:
Rooftop scatter add-ons will be out later this afternoon.
We're starting to produce the alternative primary colour building examples, which we will start showing from this week into next.
and.. whatever were those early stretch-goals...."Terminals" and "Signs"...? (mystery to be resolved today!)

I think I'll be going for the 15 scatter packs for £75 bundle and getting some ducting and other bits. That plus a City Hopper, SuperHawk and a Fork Lift and I think I'm all set It depends what comes out at the end they have saved some stuff for the last weekend and some might be KS exclusive (although it will be split costs between the KS and PM as I can only go £100 before Christmas).

Decisions... decisions. I really want to upgrade from my Forward Base to Forward Base PLUS but I am not sure. I don't think I've ever spent that much one KS, let alone just terrain, ever. If I do upgrade I'll probably have to cancel Kings of War pledge and maybe Norsgard and Anarchy Models stencils too.

Aw, I was hoping that they would have the upgraded solar panels available as addons. Does anyone know what it is they're using to get that effect? Is it some kind of foil?
