I needed a meaner, badder looking Abaddon to lead my Black Legion adversaries as the original seemed too small next to the new Chaos Terminators. Here is my attempt at the Despoiler himself.

I really dig this. It's a fairly simple conversion that doesn't go over the top, but it's really effective and is a worthy update of the original sculpt. Nice work!

That's one of the best one-liners I've seen on dakka.

Raven Guard turn albino as they get older. This guy is supposed to be the Chapter Master, possibly the oldest Raven Guard alive, hence why his face is white. Any tips and advice on painting albino skin would be appreciated.

Pinkish. Albino isn't "White" it's "Lack of pigment". That means you'll be able to see the bloodflow under the skin- pinkish and bluish.

Dakka is the ork word for shooting, but the ork concept of shooting is saturation fire. Just as there is no such thing as a "miss" in a target-rich environment, there is no such thing as a "dodge" in a bullet rich one

I dig how in a setting where giant, muscled fungus men ride Mad Max cars and use their own teeth as currency, the concept of little engineering dudes with beards was considered a step too far down the aisle of silliness.

I've returned to lurking around the forums the last week or so and the awesome stuff in this thread has inspired me to emerge from the shadows.

My favourite conversion was definitely the four legged dreadnought I bodged together even if the sensor "head" is a little bit gimmicky.

How did I miss this thread for so long!

My comments have been described variously as rabid, pig-ignorant, and stultifyingly ill-informed.
