While I agree, there might be a slight scale issue between the ORCs and the newer stuff?
Especially in terms of the weapons?

the ORC with boarding rifle is oversized, you can see a pic in my gallery to compare with the suiss HMG body

Spoiler:

I love those ORC model too but they need new model, as all old pano stuff

That is some beautiful painting and a great colour scheme Sangarn, very nice!

I know it's a separate issue, but what the feth is wrong with people giving the one pic of yours an average '6' for painting?

Black Hand… Mafia… Nice.

The "Black Hand" are most definitely not a mafia of any way, shape, or form.

The Black Hand are the Nomad intelligence/special operations sections. From what information we have at the moment it is a joint effort by all the Nomad ships, originally founded by the Mexican General at the outset of the Nomad ships declaring their independence.

OOoohh... I see. so some Spec-Op types... weird though.. here in America the Mexican Mafia or Eme is also the black hand... I figured it was these guys IN Space Ese!

Black hand… Mexican origins… Nomad Prison Ship… you can see my confusion right? That’s too much real world. Crime syndicate also fits with Nomads… Being of Chicano descent that’s what come to my mind. I’m sure the models will be really cool.

Nomad Theme Song: El-P - Habeas Corpses “Beneath the body armor and weaponry, my heart quietly thumps and whispers. Drop the guns and grab her, now's the time to make your run. Sitting in my transport as we slip through traffic veins”

Of all that news Vedic has me the most excited. Asuras, Nagas, Garuda, Dakini, Dasyus and Maruts are I believe (I’m sure I’ll be corrected if I’m wrong) all Vedit… and all the Aleph I own fit into that sectorial.
I love The Mahabharata and Ramayana truly epic. Makes sense they’d call the sectorial Vedic.

Kanluwen What sectorial are you excited about and who fits in it?

Sangarn
Your PanO models are the PanO I love the most. I DLd those pics from Google or somewhere along time ago very inspiring, matter of that's why I cut up my Orc troops.
All of your work is clean and well laid out. All respect where respect is due.

The Black Hand, again, is not one specific group.

It was founded by the Mexican General but is drawn from all of the Nomad ships. We have no clue right now how it is going to work.

Gorgos looks neat, but I was hoping we'd see more of their biomech stuff teased. The Gorgos looks too mechanical for my taste.

It looks like an oversized Ectros, which is pretty good.

The whole biomechanical look of the Tohaa has been odd from the beginnig. I was hoping for more organic shapes and something that made it look alive.

Instead, we get orange glowing chainmail with armor plates.

Honestly, it looks amazing taken out of context; all Infinity models do. It just doesn't convey enough of the biological aspect, I think.

I think I would have just rather seen them fielding something a bit more unique instead of just aping humanity's TAGs. These guys are supposed to be biotech masters. A giant bipedal beetle like the things CA have would've been kind of neat instead.

The "giant bipedal beetles" are actual creatures similar to the Chaksa(slightly tampered with but otherwise left alone), not TAGs.

The Sphinx and Raicho, both of CA's TAGs, actually are similar to humanity's TAGs.
I think one issue you seem to be having is the idea that it has to 'be unique' or that the Tohaa would not come up with a bipedal assault platform themselves. It's a reasonable complaint and I can understand it but for myself?
I think the Symbiont Armor+Viral CCW/Spitfire, 2x Flammenspear, Nanopulser and it coming with G: Synchronized Chaksa Perifical toting a Light Shotgun and Flash Grenades make it fairly unique.

The Tohaa may have a unique mechanic with their symbiont TAG, but aesthetically it looks like the same thing all the humans are doing: upscaled heavy infantry.

The Marghariba Guard (sp?) is really unique with its hooks game mechanic and its overall design aesthetically. Nobody else has a spider-tank.

I was hoping the Gorgos was going to be something truly alien and./or biological in some way. Maybe no eyes. Maybe no harsh corners. All the masters of biotechnology could come up with is taking their glowing chainmail parts and putting them on an upscaled Ectros.

Give it a palette-swap and remove the glowy chainmail and it could easily pass off as a human TAG. You couldn't say the same of the Sphinx.

And that makes since, why would they reinvent the wheel, when the Tohaa could just grow what they normal use to a bigger state, and use that.

Peter: As we all know, Christmas is that mystical time of year when the ghost of Jesus rises from the grave to feast on the flesh of the living! So we all sing Christmas Carols to lull him back to sleep.
Bob: Outrageous, How dare he say such blasphemy. I've got to do something.
Man #1: Bob, there's nothing you can do.
Bob: Well, I guess I'll just have to develop a sense of humor.

You could not say the same of the Sphinx yet. The Gecko might change that.

With that said, the Sphinx is essentially a miniaturized Cutter.

The point of the upscale human form is to have a close support option for the infantry units that can follow them in rough situations that normal vehicles would not be able to cope with.

Maghariba is unique in its antiquity, its a really old version of Human TAGs that is more of a vehicle than a TAG, the PanO TAGs are more advanced than the Nomads because their physique is closer to the human making their controller more natural to control them, likewise Combined TAG that are not beings themselves like the Avatar and the Cacuda are following this pattern.

Thx ! and I'm happy to have inspired you :p
ILO are the easiest infinity mini to convert; thanks to shoulder pads; but all the rest of the infinity mini range are a real pain to convert :x

as for the ORC maybe there will be a variant in varuna sectorial

The Warstore is now taking preorders on the Infinity Bootleg range and have prices for them.

The Maghariba Guard and Lizard Pilots are $13.99 each.
Joe Turner, Tech-Bee, and O-Yoroi are $38.99 each.

They are listed as "August releases" but considering that the July releases were supposed to be out July 17th and were not out until July 31st, I would not hold my breath on them actually coming out in August.

I'm going to look on the bright side and just consider August as a relatively inexpensive month for me.

I'm sure CB will be raiding my wallet again in September though!

Those are pretty steep prices, but I guess that the target audience for this kind of thing is ready to pay them. I know that my idea of getting some of those to paint has been laid to rest.

I should add that those prices are discounted.

The MSRP listing is:
$17.48 for the Guard and Lizard Pilots
$48.53 for the rest of them.

I will be very interested to see if these are as successful as CB hopes. I have a sneaking suspicion that they will be successful, but how successful remains to be seen.

The prices are not unreasonable considering the amount of material and such they contain.

It's $48.50 for the large models. This is less than the price of a TAG ($58.50). Considering the bbotleg TAG models are pretty much full TAGs with the legs missing and additional detail bits like human figures, opened cockpits, and fiddly bits, it's quite reasonable.

It's $17.50 for the small models. Rather high, which is difficult to explain. Most of the smallest single models are $13.00 at most. The only comparable price point I could find was Izzat Beg (Haqqi Kum Biker Character) at also $17.50.

I guess they're also counting the extra parts (both pilots are sitting or is being supported by a piece of metal), if CB is mostly counting the price of materials. I still think it's fairly reasonable, although a bit on the high side.
