So I have modelled a wraithknight holding a dreadknight, forward it is fairly large and the base seems to thin for me to hammer a sinker flat(I tried and it was still to thick) and I couldn't glue it. I have made the base and don't want to add any flaps.
Help

You need to have something countering the weight on the other side of the base.

What would I use, how would I attach it to under the base

Fishing weights can be used - they are little split spheres of lead that can be opened out and stuck under the base with PVA or hot glue or even superglue.

I'm thinking you just need to pin a heavy metal object to the base and build something over it.

I did the lead sinker flattening but I don't know how to attach it, as asked in the original post and I have also already made the base so I can't build over anything

Automatically Appended Next Post:
I can't seem to flatten out the lead ball enough is is still wider than the height of the base

Your base needs a good sized rock behind the Wraithknight. He likely just stepped over a rocky embankment to get to the Dreadknight, you see... That's what's worked for me. Strange how so many models start fighting just in front of large rocks! Lol...

If the piece is just for display you could always buy/make a wooden plinth. You could then bore holes into the back end and sink lead into it.
Even if it's not, I'd consider making a wooden base anyway just for the added weight alone.

Defective lead shot is cheaper than fishing weights.

Dob it in with a blob of varnish or PVA glue.

We're not very big on official rules. Rules lead to people looking for loopholes. What's here is about it.

Superglue/tape a coin or two to the underside of the base

If you can get some super glue and roofing lead (which is almost the perfect thickness off the roll in my neck of the woods) you can weigh the model down effectively. I'd suggest putting in more than you need to counterbalance it just to cover when the model is on an angle.

It's not the size of the blade, it's how you use it.

Do you happen to have a picture of the whole thing? It might be nice to see a visual representation and go from there.

I was going to do that but don't know how to add a image and I don't know why it won't come up in my gallery as a picture
Anyways I did it today by torching a bit of lead that I had flattened out waited for it to start to cool and pour under base, worked out fine.

Under where you type up a post, there is an "attachments" button that you can use to add a file, like in an email.

That is 1 up-side-down photo lol. Don't look for too long, neck cramps aren't good for painting...

ANYway... I'd say take a venture out to the hardware store, and grab some washers.

If you're looking for thin, automotive body washers are thin and wide, while normal washers are a tad thicker, but heavier.
See what kind of trouble you can cause. As for attachment, hit the washer with a bit of rough-grit sandpaper and just super-glue it. If you've bad luck with super-glue, a little rubber cement or epoxy will do the trick just fine. I like gorilla glue myself.

Why is it that only those who have never fought in a battle are so eager to be in one?

He really does need weighting down he's floated up to the ceiling!!!
Get a bit of roofing lead from somewhere and superglue it under the light side of the base
