Hi fellas, been collecting for a few years, play on and off and recently got back in to it. Not really sure what to get next as there seems like so many options.

Here's what I have (the models listed on the same line are either magnetised options or just ones I'm happy to use as either option.)

MOAR BANES!

Either kind really. Either one is great but together they're even better.

Get a max unit of Bane Thralls with the UA and Tartarus.

past that i would make a suggestion for Darragh Wrathe and a minimum unit of Blood Witches with the UA.

besides the above I would be confident in fielding a few lists with what you have. Blood Witches in particular BONE so many lists it isnt even funny.

Ok thanks guys! I think I grab some Bane Thralls to start with once the plastic box gets released! The PP release schedule says January so not long to wait!

Yeah, you need more units. There are a plethora of good ones to pick from. I really like Satyxis raiders and bane thralls. But you have many options, most of which are very good.

With the warcasters you have, Bane Thralls + UA + Tartarus will get guaranteed usage. Bane Knights are also an option, but I think Thralls would do you better overall. You can also pick up some Mechanithralls and a Necrosurgeon for a cheap, effective unit with those casters.

I've put a pre-order in for the Bane Thralls!

Hi guys, got twitchy waiting for the plastic units, needed to purchase something (it didn't feel right having a game system with nothing let to paint! )...

So I picked up a couple more Solos which I quite like the sound of.

A Bloat Thrall cause I love the idea of charging him head on into a unit and watch them pap themselves when they destroy it!
A Skarlock Thrall for a bit of Focus saving.
And I got the Malice upgrade bits just to add another option for 'jacks. The Reaper being one of my favourites means I'll prob love this guy too!

Any thoughts of those purchases?

Skarlock is a neccessity. Bloat thralls are very hit or miss. Malice has seen less utility since the Collossals have come along, but I find he is still a bang up piece that people should be wary of.

Skarlock is great. I love mine with Either Denny or Scaverous.

Bloat thrall is fun, but it is pretty easy for him to be taken down by ranged attacks. Though I have had great luck (and I emphasize luck) with him. I taken out MHSF, WG, etc with him. And I usually get disgustingly good scatter rolls with him. But he is slow, easy to hit and not too hard to kill. So you might get a good blast with him now or then, but don't expect much once people figure out what he does and how to deal with him.

Malice could be cool, especially if you already liked Reapers. Better RAT is his biggest bonus.

Yup, pretty much what I was thinking with the Bloat Thrall, one hit wonders I'd say but I'll have fun trying to get them to work.

I was thinking maybe just throwing one into combat with a slayer/seether? I think that would work!

Well as expected the Bloat Thrall was pretty hilarious in it's maiden game talking out 5 of Cygnars finest! . . . He was then shot on sight in his 2nd game! Fortunately he was no one near any of my own stuff!

Finished up painted the Malice pieces so I'll give him a run next.

Also picked up a couple of cheap boxes of Mechanithralls. Metal ones but they were being sold off cheaper to make way for the plastics! Trying to get these guys done so I can try Termius a bit more!
