God, I really hope this is in the right section.

Now, notably, I'm shooting ideas that are In Theme and not Raw Efficiency so please consider this and be constructive in your criticism.

I'll start with a little backstory; unit building and ideas are my forte, concepts and story my wine. I tend to roleplay within the Warhammer 40K world rather than actually play the tabletop, given my... inability to acquire cash. I also don't know the hard stats and rules; having come up on the fluff rather than the rulebooks. Go easy on me please. ;w;

But, skipping a lot of blah blah blah, on to the actual meat of the topic:

(Sidenote; We're assuming that chaos somehow got thier hands on some Centurion armor.)

KHORNE RAMPAGE CENTURIONS
Oh god. You look at those things- walking TANKS - and you tell me that stuffing a Khorne Berserk in there couldn't make an Ultramarine wet his armor. I see basically three available armaments; A massive, two handed chainaxe (The classic), dual heavy flamers (The EVERYTHING MUST BURN) or paired seismic hammer (The Secret Punch Them in The Face Until They Die Technique (Inspired, basically by the anime Big O)). My favorite is the paired seismic hammers. I see maniacal laughter, bloodlust, and lots of punching things into bloody messes.

SLAANESH SONIC CENTURIONS
One armament comes to mind; with my favorite completely believable substitution. Paint the whole thing pink, stick a Noise Marine in it, give it dual-linked blastmasters on each arm, and stack a crapload of amplifiers on top of it, rock band style (Gotta be Dirge Casters, yo.). For extra points, convert those blastmasters into an equally awesome giant guitar that looks like the symbol of Slaanesh. Come on, GW. If you didn't want to arm the Noise Marines with guitars, then why does their patron Chaos God's symbol look so much like one?

As a last reminder; these are concepts for possible story work and roleplay. And maybe possibly carving the peices and mounting them on a custom painted Centurion.

Interesting idea. Just a couple questions to help flesh them out a bit...

1) How does a follower of Chaos recieve the honor of becoming a Chaos Centurion? Does he have to have immense strength (Khornate) or an immense desire for pleasure(Slaanesh)

2) Why do Chaos warbands field these? Do they serve a practical purpose or are they there more for simply honor's sake? Perhaps they're a Chaos Lord's bodyguards?

I think it's basically a "Hey, you've brought me a crap load of skulls, and you're really fun to watch (I like how you keep cutting people into three slices. It's fantastically bloody.) let's keep you bringing me skulls by GIVING YOU GIANT POWER ARMOR." because as far as I've read that's basically how you get things from Khorne.

Slaanesh, on the other hand, probably only grants them to the Noise Marines that make the most pleasing cacophony. Aspiring champions and all that.

Chaos would field these basically as SM's do. Giant, walking tanks. Or, in the case of Khorne, screaming bloody murder linebacker tanks.

Hmm... maybe it's just me but they sound a little too similar to Chaos Champions.
Is there anything we can add to them to make them a little different?
For Slaanesh Centurions, maybe they have the honor of carrying massive speakers that amplify the noise marines' sound to an even higher volume for the noise marines?
As for Khornate Centurions, maybe they're absolutely fearless, as in they literally don't know what fear is. Maybe they're not champions, but are instead failures to Khorne, doomed to serve their deity as brainless, brutes that only live to destroy.

Well, I think of them basically like pieces of equipment, not just straight units, but I sort of like the idea that the Slaanesh ones are basically Slaanesh roadies. Keep the suggestions coming,t he more I have to work with, the more I can do. Also, feel free to sling Nurgle, Chaos Undivided, and Tzeench suggestions.

World Eaters Blood Centurions;

The mercenary and sellsword nature of World Eaters traitors Marines push them into almost any corners of the galaxy, even the darkest of them to take Skulls for their Patron God, and also to win/recuperate new pieces of wargear on the corpses of their vanquished foes.

There is nothing more thrilling to a World Eaters Berzerker to extuinguish the lifes of loyal Space Marines lapdogs, and they where always fascinated by the Astartes new toys that they devlopped since the Heresy, specially those Heavy suits of armor called Centurions.

Its not a rare sight to see berzerkers rushing the battlefield to lash and strike at those new Exo suits and trying to steal them and take them for their own, but with their never ending Bloodlust and rage, when they recover there senses, most of the time the armors are so damaged that they are but scraps of distorted metal with gore oozing out from it.

but in some occurence, the Armor is barely damaged and still functionning, meanly because the bearer was swiftly beheaded.

Those who manages to capture a Centurion exosuit, then claim it their own, and clad themselfs in it, become a new type of Murderer, the type that never tires, never stops, and is mercyless, Blood Centurions.

Unit composition 1-3.

Unit type; Infantry, very bulky.

Wargear; Centurion exosuit, pair of Chainfists, Frag Launchers.

Can exchange their Chainfists for
-a pair Thunderhammers for +5pts per model.
-a pair of Power scourge for +10pts per model.

Can exchange their Frag launchers for;
-two combi bolters for free
-twinlinked heavy flamers for free
-twinlinked Meltaguns for +10pts per model.

Special Rules;

Furious Charge, Mark of Khorne, Fearless,Champion of Chaos(Blood Centurion Champion only) Mechanized Fury.

Mechanized Fury; the combination of powerfull servo-motors and pistons and and endless rage and reckless fury makes Blood Centurions verfy dangerous to engage in CqC, even for the best of fighters.

Blood Centurions models in the unit ignores the Unwieldy nature of their weapons, and thus strike at there normal initiative value.
