We are using the old rules for KT not the new digital release tho.

The Overview:

The Armies:
Deamons!

Leader:

The Specialists:

Kabalites - see above.

The Specialist:

Deployment:

The Turns:

Deamons Had First Turn, the deamonettes advance and run forward as fast as possible. The Dark Eldar had been smart, and deployed out of range of the horrors... that each have 2D6 str 5 shots! ouch.
They advance through the ruins:

There are deamons in this place:

The Kabal springs forward during their first turn. The Dracon breaks from cover! and in a fit of glorious bravado, charges out and engages one of the deamonkin in hand to hand. The splinter cannons provide coverfire and take out the horrors that are in range.

On the far flank. The jetbikes, advance engage the flanking deamons and retreat with their jetbike move.

Deamon turn 2 sees the Leaders warlord trait come into play! She outflanks 2 horrors near the bikes, they both fail their psy tests!

The Dracon gets combo charged! and dies, giving up Slay The Leader

The Dark Eldar now move onto the other flank in force, keeping the outflanking horrors out of range.
The deamonettes take quite the brunt of the attack.

The last outflanking horror arrives! The ignore cover specialist. He blasts the splinter cannons to death.

The Kabal tries to regroup as the demons encroach. The deamons go to ground and resist most of the firepower as they await for the rest of the deamons to support the advance.

Trying to press the advantage the jetbikes expose themselves.

The last of the horrors advance into position. They apply a lot of pressure onto the Dark Eldar line. Now forcing break tests!

The last jetbike holds on to the far objective. And kills a deamon to force break checks! Its now a luck game.

The last warrior tries to hide in the shadows!

The Dark Eldar failed their break test! And the game is won by the Daemons!

The Aftermath:
Holy crap, that was a great game. The horrors are very, very nasty! But I would have had him had I passed that break test. I am looking forward to using the new rules, so that things like that dont happen. Also, a horror with ignores cover was brutal!

Kabal Performance:
I like the kabal and what they accomplished. I am considering a few changes but still need to play test it a few times to get a better feel for it!

Did you enjoy the report? Thanks for reading!
Woot!

Well, they were neutered in the latest rules. I rather like what they did with the specialists, though.

When I saw the title I was wondering what kind of list you would play. Daemons are either incredibly broken (pink horrors) or quite underpowered (everything else) when it comes to the old kill team rules.

If you did the game again with the new rules, and a different, list then I believe you would have a much harder time.

Thanks for the nice report.

You are all welcome! Thanks for the comments. I am new at Kill team reports, they tend to be a bit more in depth because of the model vs model nature of the report.

The horrors were nasty, thank goodness that's changed.
