hey guys. I have been playing against my friends eldar now for half a year without a win please help!! been gaming with guard for 3 years now.

Work on spell checking your stuff and how many points are you playing?

Also you are to low on troops.

Your list has a bunch of extra stuff you dont need.

Is that Nork deaddog in the CCS? if so drop him as hes a waste. heavy flamer is not worth its points on a standard guardsmen, you shouldnt really ever take all the advisors unless your using Creeds formation for apoc. Medic is also not worth it as the models are toughness 3, strength 6+ will still insta kill them and massed light arms fire will still kill them just as easily.

Yarrick is not worth his points either.

Ogryns??? 3 are not really worth it and footslodging across the board means they will get shot up and die. Only way to do ogryns is use the highest number you can to fit in a chimera with a lord commissar and rush them at the enemy. expensive and not very great but its the only way to make them mildly useful.

darlings? i assume ratlings? I dont think they are worth it in general. a couple of shots and these guys will be running.

Stormtroopers are good for their suicide melta rolls so your good there.

Your troops are to little. At this point level you should have so much more because once these guys are dead your best bet is to tie the game which will be really hard. Bastone is a waste. Vet squads are best with x3 plasma or x3 melta in a chimera and I wouldnt waste points on power swords when guard is meant to be shooty. Penal legion are really not worth their points and are a waste.

1 sentinel? I would drop it if you really only have 1, get more or it will be singled out and die.

rough riders are best used when you have multiples but they arent worth it as they are just fast guardsmen and will probably die before they cross table.

How is the Valkyrie 125pts? I thought its base points was 100? what upgrades do you have. Either run vendettas or valkyries with multiple rocket pods.

2 leman russes? are these just standard russes? personally I like standard russes but I If you want more bang for your buck use punishers with MM/LC or heavy bolters all around, or try a vanquisher with LC/MM or PC sponsons, or go with the executioner with LC/PC's. Those variants are more expensive but will do so much more than standard LRBT's

Yea your first start would be to get more troops and reliable ones too. Standard platoons or veterans in chimeras.

And get rid of all the extra stuff I said was useless.

I find with Orks the best way is to put on as many models as you can on the board, so field 30 strong boyz units probably with shoota's.
