Just wondering, has anyone tried this or a similar product on any miniatures.

Thinking it could be an interesting basecoat for either the Stone Hearts or Stone Gauntlet Space Marine Chapters.
Just unsure if it will be too thick, and will sacrifice too much detail for a nice stone like effect.
I think it could look especially good applied to SM Tanks.

(I have done a good bit of searching & surfing, but can't find a thread that relates to this or even an example of a colour scheme for either chapter)

Can anyone help me out please or will I just have to buy to try?
