We actually do not have an Alpine mat at the store anymore, we had to send both to the art team. We will get one though as soon as we get the mats off the boat, and they left yesterday! w00t!

Reece are you trying to loose your internet cred? Not a single net list and two armies that are "garbage" and "unplayable"!

I actually rather liked your ork list. If you could just roll your dice in a less embarrassing way it seemed like it could do well.

Reece likes to play fun and challenging games by using these non-internet friendly lists and I find myself enjoying the same. The point he likes to show that it isn't so much the list as it is more the player who wins the game. I'm sure he could take a TauDar army and win 99% of his games but where is the challenge in that?

Reece your ork list is awesome. about as optimized as orks get. Really a shame about your dice that game. I kept waiting for the dice to turn around and let you get back in to the game, but every turn was full of crushing fail lol. It happens.

On the flip side I also think BA AV13 spam is still pretty strong and im honestly surprised you NEVER see anyone using it. So props to Raw Dogger for giving us all a show.

REALLY great batrep as always guys and im looking forward to a rematch.

Blood Angels are still pretty good with cheap fast transports and assault Marines for troops.

Yeah, the Alpine mats are awesome! If you check the latest update on the KickStarter, you can see the Barren Wasteland and Space mats, too! We just loaded the first truck, they're on the way, which is super exciting.

Yeah, I like playing challenging games, when you use a real powerhouse army it can get pretty boring.

I have actually done really well with that Ork list, that was my first loss with it.

Thanks! Yeah, it is a surprisingly good list. It is fast, has shooting, assault, scoring units and redundancy. So far, I have been happy with it, that game just started out bad and got worse! haha

The one thing that really stand out to me that I find odd are the foot slogging 20 boyz squads. You could easily just drop them to 12 and purchase them a trukk making them a mobile scoring unit if need be. Then with the extra points left over you can buy another warbiker. Just my 2 cents.

That's a good point I had not thought, of actually. I like the 20 because they make a good, fearless scoring unit that still shoots well, but the Trukk makes them far more mobile, cheaper and protects them a bit. I will have to try that out!

Yeah I understood what your intentions were with them but what ive noticed is it's a lot easier making it across the table in a trukk with twelve boyz than it is with a squad of twenty foot slogging. People with tons of anti-infantry weapons seem to go crazy firing into the exposed boyz and it doesn't take a whole lot to drop them to under fearless numbers. Hope to see a batrep if you do try them out!

If you want the option to walk the boyz, you can with a wagon, but not a trukk. I've been considering the tactical stifuation where I'd want to dismount the boyz and put them on foot. Loosing a little less than half to an exploding trukk / wagon is a total bummer.

Yeah, that is always frustrating.
