You can mount a Strigoi on the Terrorghiest, the bigger winged monster on the huge base.
A Vampire (lord or hero) can be mounted on a flying Hellsteed (which is a horse with wings, not a monster at all).

Being mounted on a Varghulf sounds rad, but not possible.

Eh, aren't Varghulfs maddened Vampires or something? I'm fairly sure they used to be Vampires. Vampires riding on Vampires, hmmm... Well, I just think we should save the whole "riding on a member of your own race" thing for the Lizardmen.

Actually, the monsters the lizardmen fields are not members of their own race, iirc. They are just animals.
