What army supplement do you hope GW will release next and why?
For me, it would have to be BT. They were stripped of their codex, and have simply become marines that are slightly faster on foot. To have a supplement that has some nice unique wargear and units, not to mention rules representing their death defying zeal beyond making them more athletic than other marines would be great.

Specific chaos legions, like they should have been doing the entire time. (glares at chapter tactics.) A world eater supplement that makes them useful again or an Iron Warriors supplement that makes you actually feel like you're playing Iron Warriors. Crazy, I know. No wonder they went to chaos, if the Imperium treated them the same way GW does, I'd go chaos as well.
And just for me, I'd like to see a supplement on one of the Major Orders of the Sisters of Battle.

Genestealer cult - even if its just a mash up of IG and 'nid rules, or even just rules for the two to ally. Although in-depth variant rules for the different generations of hybrids would be even better ...

I think tau alien auxiliaries/kroot would be baaaaaddasss!
I really like kroot and vespids and I think it would be really cool to take an all auxiliary army. Make vespids better (point wise cheaper for sure) and an HQ from a few and maybe add in a new race?
I've read somewhere that a kroot supplement might come but I don't think that was the best source haha also they would need some new models at least a few.

Death Guard, World Eater, or the monogod codex-bridging supplements as were rumored a few months back. Given GW's apathy or contempt towards Chaos releases, I don't expect any of them to ever exist.

Tau Auxiliaries definitely. You could have Demiurg (space-dwarves/squats), Gue'vesa, maybe some Nicassar (floating polar bear psykers), more Vespid, and more Kroot. I would also love an Ulthwe supplement.

Fairly easy to do, really. Some special chapter tactics, Sternguard and Vanguard as Troops, a few bits of special wargear, and done.

For next, I'll vote Genestealer Cult. I just find them to be an interesting part of the fluff, and think that the combination of genestealers and IG would be interesting to play.
As for what I would like but most probably won't be next, either an Argent Shroud or Valorous Heart supplement for the AS. I find the fluff of those Orders the most interesting, and imagine that they'd shake-up the AS playstyle a fair bit.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.
Orks always ride in single file to hide their strength and numbers.

A book of alien mercenaries would be really cool. Let other armies bring in Kroot or Jokaero or some of the other Tau companion type species (with maybe a few new ones).
Also having options for an all Kroot army would be pretty cool.

The same thing that the Inquisition codex did (you could always say that Inquisition does nothing that allying with Grey Knights doesn't). Offer a bigger variety of ally choices for a bigger set of armies.

Plus, we need legitimate ways to create non-Azrael chapter masters, non-Belial 1st company captains, and non-Sammael Ravenwing captains. Even if all the Unforgiven successors have an entirely Terminator'd out 1st company and entire company devoted to fast attack bikers and speeders to hunt down the Fallen, it doesn't make sense every last one of them would be exactly the same. ESPECIALLY Sammael. If there's only supposed to be the one Corvex, why do all the Huntmaster Captains of the other successor chapters all ride on jetbikes, too?

Ugh, seriously. Drop their price by 3 points a guy, make taking teleport homers optional for +3 points a model. Easy-peasy, and it significantly helps a codex that's already super pricey per guy.
I'd also like an option to make my own custom Black Knight-related HQ guys. Seems silly to me you can make a Ravenwing Interrogator-Chaplain who doesn't have Skilled Rider, Hit and Run, nor the Plasma Talons on the front of his bike.

With tournament list and competitive play being the *only thing that matters* currently in 40k. Would it even be monetarily feasible for GW to create such a supp that nobody will buy because it isnt overflowing with cheese and D weapons?
Now if 40k wasn't a competitive game where anyone without a net list gets crushed by people with no imagination that copy pasted some GT winning list I would agree with everyone on this thread.

I know people are probably sick to death (har) of Death Guard lists, but I WILL be buying a Supplement if ever released. Mainly to get some better Warlord Traits and hopefully a FNP upgrade for a Non-Typhus Lord. Or even better, 4+ FNP for all Death Guard Plague Marines. Just add a VOTLW for a free upgraded Plague Marine! Dedicated Nurgle Rhinos would be cool.
Maybe some real Death Guard Havocs, with a Nurgle Heavy Bolter Artifact like you always see in the old artwork.

I would LOVE to see a supplement for CSM where the lore states they all failed to invade Cadia, CSM gets wiped from the Galaxy and they just start from scratch with a Retcon. CSM dex was horrendous and gave me cancer...
Realistically, a supplement that allowed the use of general Wargear upgrades like from Black Legion, on properly painted models or what have you. (Marks and Icons are bloody overpriced to Space Tomatoes, so get rid of this nonsense of you sniping out my 15 point Icon so I lose FNP on my squad literally only existing for that 1 reason)
It would also be nice if we could "Loot" loyalist tanks... Iron Warriors maybe? The Legion Tactics came up long before the arrival of 6th Loyalist Marines, and it was stated that it would be next to impossible to balance for a CSM Dex.... Lone behold, the kick in the nuts to all CSM players when the loyalists got their Chapter Tactics and strut around poking fun at the Black Legion v_v"

Rules for running Adeptus Mechanicus are covered, at least the 30k versions of them are, in the Horus Heresy books. They are still only somewhat fleshed out, most of their rules coming by way of Book 2, but seem pretty cool to me.
I'm also not sure what the point of Craftworld Ulthwé as a supplement would be. What kind of alternate rules would you employ not already covered in the codex? Then again, I thought that about the Black Legion rumors for their supplement and then it actually came out. I thought it was pretty cool. Maybe they'd bring along a forced upgrade requirement in having Warlocks lead every squad that they can possibly attach to similar to how Black Legion guys must take VotLW if they can?
Or they can purchase Warlock Councils as elites, as currently there are no elites at all that fit the fluff of the Ulthwé. It's all aspect warriors or ghost people, neither of which the Ulthwé really utilize.
