Hello everyone. I am calling on the tactical mind of more experienced players than me for the following big question : which army/ armies are good at fielding list without vehicules.
I think I must explain myself: I am as much an hobbyist as a player, and as such, I like to play with thing I assembled and painted myself. But I really hate assembling and painting vehicules. As such, I need to know which armies can be fielded without vehicules being almost mandatory (for exemple : rhinos for SM, Wave Serpent for Eldar, etc).
I think many of you are going to say ''daemons of course''. That's right. But apart from them ? Are they the only ones capable to answer my need ?
The only other option that comes to my mind is playing a bike army, but this kinda requires a lot of conversion and a bit of money.
Thx for your answers.

Imperial guard and eldar. Like you vehicles arent something i enjoy too much. I play both of those with no vehicles frequently. Lately my tastes have been changing but still those 2 armies would be my suggestion.

Eldar without vehicles takes a lot of work though.

If you dont go to a GW store i advise guard because you have a variety of 3rd party models to use add variety and uniqueness.

Tyrannids

1x Tyrannofex
2x 30 termagant
1x 10 gargoyles
1x 3 zoanthropes
1x venomthrope
1x 3 hive guard

I think that's decent for a nid army but does need sharpening up. The only problem would be lots of assembling/paiting

You fool me once I'm mad.
You fool me twice, I don't really like you.
You fool me three times, your officially that guy.

Eldar jet bikes are plenty good without Wave Serpents. Tau don't need Hammerheads. Tyranids don't have any vehicles at all.

Farsight Enclaves tau, you get crisis suits as troops. Who needs vehicles?

Marines marines marines all the way. I have two transports in my entire 8k army and those are land raiders. I run mobs of tactical squads or combat squads. Try to use cover to your advantage. Boots over treads anyday.

Actually a Dantewing army is not a horrible choice. All of the troops have "decent of angels" rule, 2+ saves, power weapons, and angelic bolters.

It is the 3rd Millennium. For more than a hundred months Games Workshop has sat immobile on the Golden Throne of Nottingham. It is the foremost of wargames by the will of the neckbeards, and master of a million tabletops by the might of their inexhaustible wallets. It is a rotting carcass writhing invisibly with business strategies from the early Industrial Revolution Age. It is the Carrion Lord of the wargaming scene for whom a thousand veteran players are sacrificed every day, so that it may never truly die. Yet even in its deathless state, GW continues its eternal vigilance. Mighty battleforce starter-sets cross the online-store-infested miasma of the internet, the only route between distant countries, their way lit by a draconian retail trade-agreement, the legal manifestation of the GW's will. Vast armies of lawyers give battle in GW's name on uncounted websites. Greatest amongst its soldiers are the Guardians of the IP, the Legal Team, bio-engineered super-donkey-caves. Their comrades in arms are legion: the writing team and countless untested rulebooks, the ever vigilant redshirts, and the writers of White Dwarf, to name only a few. But for all their multitudes, they are barely enough to hold off the ever-present threat from other games, their own incompetence, Based Chinaman - and worse. To support Games Workshop in such times is to spend untold billions. It is to support the cruelest and most dickish company imaginable. These are the tales of those times. Forget the power of sales discounts and Warhammer Fantasy Battle, for so much has been dropped, never to be re-published again. Forget the promise of cheaper digital content and caring about the fanbase, for in the GW HQ there is only profit-seeking, Space Marines and Sigmarines. There is no fun amongst the hobby shops, only an eternity of raging and spending, and the laughter of former employees who left GW to join better companies.

Orks because 45 lootas and 180 models on the board.

I am the kinda ork that takes his own washing machine apart, puts new bearings in it, then puts it back together, and it still works.

So to summarize, the best armies with no vehicles are:

Tau - Battlesuits
Eldar - Footdar
Daemons - the only vehicles they have are chariots, and they suck anyway
Tyranids - no vehicles to speak of
Orks - Hordes and Hordes of boyz

Space Marine varieties:
White Scars - Do you count bikes as vehicles? if not this one is good
Dark Angels - Either ravenwing or deathwing. Although deathwing is good with a landraider
Blood Angels - Sure they have fast tanks, but you could mass assault troops and stay in cover
Black Templar - Hordes of Crusader squads! 10/10 squads

If you go full spawns and bikers - yes.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
Footslogging noize-marins are oki from time to time cause they can outshoot stuff within 24' though they need to get there most of the time and once again u'll probably need that rhino. Plague marines are nice even without a transport. But regular marines on foot are meh. No reason not to pay 35 pts for a rhino that can transport them where needed and provide some useful cover if still around. Anywayz, you can consider orkses without a trukk cause trukks are 10-10-10 opentopped and orkses are 6+... so when they kaboom - and trucks WILL kaboom even with s3 u're losing 1/3 of a squad and dealing with ld 7 for pinning-retreating. While 35 pts is 6 boyz. In case of marines 35 pts is 2 marines and they got 3+ armor save + rhino is more reliadble than a truck though if it explodes - it's s4.

Also, 10-strong plague marines with 2 plazmas and a combi-melta serg are 280 pts while regular nurgle marines are 210. So for 70 pts u're getting fnp, fearless, blight nades, 4+ poisoned knives and an extra ccw...totally worth it. And a nurgle biker lord is frightening.

You can go full suit with farsight tau.
HQ: Farsight, Commander
Troops: 6 Crisis teams
Elites: A mix of riptides and stealth suits
Fast Attack: 3 XV9 hazard teams
Heavy Support: A mix of broadsides and (if you have enough money) Ra'varnas
So many suits...

Dont forget Grey Knights and their shunting units to get to grips with the enemy without needing transports and a hard infantry base to hold their own lines. Add in a wall and quad gun along with coatez and a merry bunch of monkeys and crusaders for the wall and your set without a single vehicle. (I'm considering dreadknights as monstrous creatures).

Necrons can quite easily do it. wraithwing is usually backed up by massed flyers dropping troops onto objectives, however Necrons also have access to the Veil of darkness allowing you to teleport units round the board as you see fit. you would have to give up the destroyer lords to get the royal court members to do it though. you also have access to deathmarks who deepstrike as standard, and if you like, though by no means a great option, flayed ones who also deep strike.
Necrons can also go for a horde of MC's, with C'tan, Spyders acting as a scarab farm, again, backed up by some warriors or immortals with crypteks with VoD's for hillarious maneuverability.
