it could be possibly reworked to be more appropriate like a charger can shoot snapshots with assault weapons that are not templates cause it's not pleasant to run in flames y'know.
What i'd add: assault grenades disallow a charged unit (primary target, not the ones of the disordered charge) shoot overwatch. U see,
irl there's a type of frag grenades used exactly to avoid being shot at when you charge a fortified position. And now orkses suddenly have point in assault nades at all! Supporting fire can still be used
ofc, cause basically, many assaulters have such nades and it mustn't cripple tau gunline too hard even though i totally dislike gunline playstile
Berserk rage is way too much. Let's not even think bout grots cause they're not making it there but what about some cheap troops like cultists, imperial guardnmen and so on. Now they can wreck anyone in mellee.
U see, homebrew rules should change things SLIGHTLY. What about a Rage, Furious charge and
FNP but a d3+1 penalty to
ws...and probably initiative untill the end of the phase (or next phase). For every sucksessful
fnp place a marker on the models that made the saves. At the end of the phase (or next phase) they suffer an unsaved wound for every marker on them without armor or invulnerable saves allowed.
This can be reworked
