CCS are an excellent unit, and 4x plasma is good. The carapace I find too expensive on them, and won't protect against a determined opponent for very long. (Also in 6th with slay the warlord, I've been hiding my CCS more often so get less use out of the special weapons against longer ranged armies).

Marbo is awesome, I use him pretty much every game.

PCS: 4x plasma is very expensive on them, and the BS3 always disappoints me as a 'proper' shooting unit. I certainly prefer melta guns on them.

For me, autocannon haven't done any job well. I always take lascannon as the heavy weapons in my guard units. While they only get one shot each, orders help a lot, and they are just so much better at killing things.

Are those infantry squads blobbing up? If so they need a commissar for the leadership boost, and stubborn. Again I actually prefer lascannon on them too, as in 6th the lascannon can sit still while the rest of the squad moves, and still fire at maximum efficiency. Though plasmas are a great choice for a blob.

Melta vet squads are very efficient in their points, but having only 2 chimeras in the entire army means most anti-tank will go their way early, so I would not be hopeful that they will survive for long. My option would be either to switch some points around for at least a couple more chimera, or get two vendettas for them to go in. (The vendetta options also means the Hydra is less needed).

Leman Russ tanks are okay. Sponsons are worthless on Ordnance tanks due to the FAQ ruling that swaps out lumbering behemoth for the heavy rule. Keep them cheap.

The Hydra is good, but again on its own is vulnerable to being killed before it can do significant damage. Were I running them I would run a pair of them or none to make it harder for opponents to deny me my anti-air.

Overall it looks like a list that doesn't know what is want to be. Is it a primary foot list (in which case dump the chimeras for vendettas) or a primary tank list (in which case you need at least 2 more chimers to saturate the board).

Hope this is useful.

Now that is much stronger. Azael will make that blob very hard to get rid of, which will be a pain for your opponents.

Vendetta plus melta vets is excellent. Always remember they can jump out of it while it's flying if you need them to.

Only thing to note is split up the russes into separate squads. More generally useful that way.

I presume these guys are going in the Vendetta? Well, other than the issue of possibly giving up STW that should be fine.

Guardsman Marbo 65

Meh. Remove this if you come up with a better idea first.

Either this or the CCS won't have a transport. Either ditch the specials on the CCS and run that barebones in R&R mode, give this unit a Chimera or invest in another Vendetta somewhere.

LRBT's are the worst variant arguably. The only advantage is the lack of concern over range, but honestly you take your LR's for killing power, which these lack to be honest.

I would definitely scrap every plasmagun in the platoon (at BS3 and impeding your CC ability they're worthless and at worst losing you 20 points at a time with those GH! rolls) -this way you you only need to spare 15 points (start by scrapping Marbo or those SW's without transports) upgrade both these tanks to the far superior Executioner which can actually tackle MC's and particularly Riptide/Wraithknights reasonably, TEQ considerably better and gain a bit more overall anti-infantry firepower.

Don't give them plasma sponsons though.

Drop Pod here (consider Combi in that route) or replace that meltagun with a heavy weapon for home objective capping. But honestly, Scouts are cheaper and better at the latter.
