So, I got a squad of these guys for Christmas and I was wondering what I could field them as.

The obvious answer would be Gretchin, but the Kromlech goblins are considerably larger than GW grots and (more importantly) I would barely ever use them because grots are rather rubbish.

So, I thought that maybe they would be a good basis for an allied detachment, but I'm not sure what to count them as. Guardsmen, chaos cultists, tau and kroot all have a statline which would be a fairly reasonable match, I think.

I've seen Grot Rebellion counts-as IG armies pretty frequently, but they'd do well as Cultists so long as you could make an orky equivalent to a Chaos Lord.

I use them with an ork commissar as mercenaries in my Imperial Guard army. They think they are human so they wear peoples clothes and are trying to be civilized.

I just count them as another squad
