Alright, so I recently got into a DH campaign and the GM says that in in order to pass a test, you have to score a negative. The system is, roll 1d100-Characteristic score=result. I'm confused as I thought that it was 1d100 must be equal to or less than your characteristic score, and that is a pass. Is that right or did I really mess up?

Your right. Score on or under and every 10 under is 1 degree of success and every 10 over is 1 degree of failure. Most starters should only allow 3 DoS or DoF. Also its only every full 10 so 15 under isn't 2 DoS its one same with failures

Im a DH player with 3 years experience and my first 6 months before playing i GM'd in local game shops and privately so a basic rule like that i know well
