Glad to see a Tyranid list win! The quality of the bug lists has been steadily improving, as I'm starting to see more Synapse units to hang back and maintain control. Thanks for the report!

Have you tried running multiple crones... you always run one and it gets targeted a lot. If you run more then you might force your opponent to deal with them. Also they can land and assault but havent seen you assault with them yet?

I think he did in the Iron Hands batrep where he blew up a Land Raider with it.

Nice report! I was thinking of running that setup for Heavy Support. How do you feel about it? Did you ever think about a rupture cannon?

Not yet, I only have one model built, is why. I hesitate to make another as they really aren't that good, honestly. However, taking 3 may actually be very good as at least one of them will make it.

Thanks! Yeah, the Exocrine is boss, he is worth his points for me. The Acid Spray is so good for killing light infantry like Fire Warriors, Guardians, Dires, Scouts, etc. that we see so much. And it is good against light vehicles, too. Plus, it keeps him cheap, the Rupture cannon is very pricey and if you are taking Zoans, overlaps a bit. I prefer the template, actually, and you don't have to roll to hit, which eliminates a variable.

How are you liking the Tyranofex and the Exorcine? I've been eyeballing those bad boys and debating whether or not I want them. To note: I typically run an almost all walking list (only flyers are Gargoyles).

Also, does it seem that Flyrants and things like Crones are more needed now than even before? Obviously they're extremely fast and can carry the synapse across the board extremely quickly, but are they becoming basically a requirement?
