Hello everyone once again, with the release of the new Tyranid as many of you know there are a large amount of players jumping ship and selling their armies for cheap which I am in a position where aquire some for a very good price. Being the opportunist that I am and the fact I love being the underdog I have decided to playtest the Nids tomorrow in a few games. I am wanting to do a vanguard style army and since I play Elysians I want a lot of flyers! First attempt at Nids so tell me what you think and thanks for posting!

Explain the toxin sacs on the mawlocs to me? wouldnt it be beter to just burrow it again rather than assault?

Poison to increase wound output against tough targets like Broadsides, Centurions or if they have to tangle with a Riptide or Wraithknight.

Inside Yvraine

With smash, a Mawloc is automatically strength 6 AP2, even without using the actual "smash" attack (which makes it strength 10 ap2). So literally, the only non-vehicle in the game that a Mawloc is wounding on a higher dice-roll than a 4+ is a Wraithknight.

S, you're basically paying for the ability to wound WK's and only WK's on a 4+. That COULD be worth it. But, just food for thought.

Forgot about smash lol never played with MCs before, drop the Toxin Sacs and Hive Commander for Regeneration on the 2nd Flytyrant?

if I may ask how do toxin spikes and toxin sax let you read roll wounds? would they work for Mawlocs in the same way?and what made you choose Trygons over Mawlocs? also what are the stats for a miasma cannon? I have not been able to find it in the book when I have looked through it at the store.
