Hey guys, I've just got a high elf battalion (woot!) and I was looking over my list and can't decide whether I want command in my units, so I've been thinking about magnetising. My question is will the magnets that are small enough to fit on the silver helms and spearmens arm pieces going to be too weak to hold up the arms, as they will not be supported by a further piece?

Thanks in advance,
Rowanthedawg

I had the arms on my Space Marines magnetized, and they were supported just fine.

I just did some magnetizing on some Chaos Terminators and Chaos Land Raider. Just make sure you get the right size magnets. If they are to small they might get limp arm syndrome.

I think it should work. You could always use two magnets which will increase the power of the hold.

Hmm, cool, I was thinking of getting those small magnets (1/32 by 1/16 I think they were) and seeing if those work

could also use bigger magnets inside the torso than inside the arms to strengthen the hold

I have half a mind to kill you, and the other half agrees
