2000 points Thousand Sons, title says it all. This will be going up against 4 space marine lists, none of which have fliers. I believe each one has one land raider.

Ahriman (Warlord)
5 Terminators- MoT, Heavy Flamer, Chainfist, Powerfist (champ), VoTLW, icon of flame (Ahriman goes here)
10 Thousand Sons- Rhino
10 Thousand Sons- Rhino
Vindicator- Daemonic Possession, Combi-Bolter
Vindicator- Daemonic Possession, Combi-Bolter
Heldrake- Baleflamer
Herald of Tzeentch- Disk of Tzeentch, Grimoire of True Names, Mastery Level 3
10 Pink Horrors
9 Screamers (Herald goes here)

What power weapons should the termies take?

infiltrate targets are 1) ahriman and his termie squad, then 2) and 3) the two thousand sons squads C&C please!

I love this list, I think it will perform very well, so much AP3

For terms I'd give them Power Swords and Sigil of Corruption 2+ 3+ I think with MOT this way they will strike same time and be insanely hard to kill I think they can take that need a fact check

I'm iffy on taking the grimoire of true names without Fateweaver because one bad roll can lead to that entire screamer squad being wiped out in no time at all. Also remember the bearer of the Grimoire does not take benefit from it so he'll have a constant 5++.
If you can find the points, I'd put the MoT on the terminators.
I think this list will do fantastic against those damn loyalists

This is a good point I think but I also understand OPs reasoning as I mainly face MEQ based armies with his unit selections, it will be very difficult to defeat this list especially if Ahriman is rolling on biomancy and buffing the Terms to 5T while weakening the enemy...

I may suggest swapping out the Terms for a Daemon with Black Mace =O and making him a Psyker as he will typically strike first and can effectively wipe entire marine squads single handedly

The daemon with the black mace may be an idea, but I'm not sure the termies and the single thousand son dropped (Assuming ahriman would have to go in a thousand sons squad) would be enough points. Where do the termies get to T5? Iron arm only targets the psyker and there's no power in biomancy that buffs a whole squad

Ya youre right I wasn't thinking properly I would drop the terms however and stick him (Ahriman) in a group of Thousand Sons

Thanks guys! I think this is good to go

Most of ahrimans witchfires are going to be templates or 12"-24", so hes going to be assaulted.

I don't know if you've played TSons before, but their CC lasts forever against just about anything.

Terminators, on the other hand, with their extra attacks and power weapons, end CC very quickly. In addition, they can overwatch with the heavy flamer and TL bolters, while tsons cannot overwatch at all with anything due to S&P

Plus the termie champ with powerfist is scarier than the sorcerer in duels for the most part

Also on the DP yeah its hard to find the points for that, and generally 1 FMC will get shot down. If you run FMCs, you need two or more.

I usually don't have anything to do with terminators since I roll alot of ones on my saves I see the logic, I forgot about SnP and being in CC since I was more looking at them in a vaccum.
Back to the original list since it's better than my ideas

For the termies, I was thinking maybe two power swords and an axe. This means two of them will be hitting last and at AP2, and you'll have two AP3 attacks at initiative. I'd probably stay away from mauls since you'll be playing Space Marines where that AP4 is doing nothing
