so i'm wondering wich of these lists is stronger, and whats out there under the restrictions at hand that will beat either of these?

-500 pts max, no HQ, only 1 unit from either fast, hev or eliete (not 1 from each, 1 TOTAL) no more then 200 per unit. troops are 1-3 slot, no flying units of any kind, no transports

the lists im working with:
(necron)
- 10 immortals, tesla
- 10 warriors
- monolith

vrs

(enclave)
- 3 crisis, bonded, plasma/burst x3
- 6 FW, team lead w/ marker/target lock
- 6 FW " "
- riptide, ion, fusion.

Tau will do a ton more damage in my opinion, I just think it might have some more staying power and firepower.

They can dish out damage yes, but they cant ignore cover in that list. with everything being BS3.

Actually you know what you should do instead of firewarriors is use kroot with snipers in groups of 10 which is I think off the top of my head pretty close points wise.
I find them a bit better and the can infiltrate which could help if you want to surround the enemy...just a thought

i dont have any kroot. im not expecting much to be worrying about cover. the way i figure, the tau list will use the 2 markers to either pump bs, or ignore cover for the riptides blast. the suits are for extra support, and FW...well.. objectives i guess. in the necron list, im betting there wont be much in the way of str 8+ out there. most things that can do it are single hev weapons on troops, or more then 200 pts. (maybe predators, dreads i suppose) so an av 14 4hp tank should be able to handle most incoming fire. while the immortals and warriors deal with everything else, (inc gaussing down vehicles)

but yea i am leaning towards the tau list. so whats out there that can take it down, given the restirctions?

That's to bad about the kroot but your list should be fine it was just a thought.
I think if you face Eldar (if you can't take skimmers I.e jet bikes as troops) they would probably take 2-3 units of guardians with some sort of support gun (which could cause some trouble) and they would also probably take a unit of war walkers with scatter lasers probably. They could mix and match weapons though and get some ap but I don't think you would have a problem taking them down. They can't access wraithgguard with d-sythes (could take stock but expensive) and can't take a wraithknight either but could bring a wraithlords. You would more than likely see war walkers and guardians.

Oh and I think your tactics for the tau are solid

Just as a thought on the tau list the Riptide is nice but with the ion that's 3 shots at BS 3 or a chance of one large blast. I think for right around the same amount of points you could get 3 broadsides with HY MP that's 12 TL shots (helps for limited markers) and at str 7 can handle a lot! You could even go with the SMS for 12 more shots all at 36 not a bad trade for 3 shots.
