I've got a game on Friday vs a Daemons player who is practicing for a tournament.

Based on what I've seen him use before I'm expecting him to field something like this:

This is an issue for me because I've just sold all my tanks with the goal of going all airborne and I don't think I have the tools required to deal with some of these things.

This is what I was going to take...

My concern is that my marine detachment is going to be pretty much the only thing on the table turn one and could fall prey to a bunch of stuff. Obviously I'm going to use their Scout move (Raptors CT) to get them into blocking cover out of harms way to try and keep them alive but his army is incredibly mobile.

Now with all of the IG infantry either aboard a flyer or in Reserve (Stormies are on suicide melta detail) my troops should be safe (even 3 Soulgrinders and 2 Bloodthirsters will have trouble dropping more than one flyer in a turn).

I've also gone with Demolitions over special weapons because the Vets need to have the most impact possible on the turn they hit the ground and the Frisbee of Doom seems to be the best way to do that (also I have no special weapon troopers in my Elysians just Kasrkins).

The Marines exist because I'm short on points and I can't take my Forgeworld units or else I'd have a Punisher Vulture in the list.

The biggest problem is pushing the Plaguebearers off of objectives. Shrouded makes them hard to kill without any cover ignoring weapons beyond the Sternguard squad. I can remedy this a bit by putting my objectives in the open since I don't plan to hold any until the last turn of the game after I've killed off the really dangerous stuff.

If possible I'm going to try and convert the two Valkyries with just Rocket Pods into Vendettas or Proxy them. I don't think I need more anti-infantry in the list but I do feel like more Lascannons will help.
