As the title says, have any of you guys had experience of playing kill team, was it good, bad or indifferent? Would you recommend me trying to set up a group how would want to play this?

Played with older rules(Free ones) and its a lot of fun, it is fast playing and for me anyway, more balanced. We have used a campaign idea, small skirmishes set in a city, or to take out strategic targets.

Sadly can't get 6th Ed Kill Team rules here via Itunes, our copyright laws mean the store can't carry that kind of eBook. GW's answer was to buy an older ruleset for $60 and adapt it to 6th Edition.

The newer rules are a major improvement - the older ones have a lot of 'bugs' in them to be honest.

Far prefer KT over high points 40k (ie, 1850 standard) and on the fence as to if I like it or 1000pt 40k better

My son and I played one game, it was fun. You can buy the interactive rules via iBook. Fun missions and the individual special rules are cool. Like giving relentless to a plasma cannoneer or lascannoneer.

Got a chance to play the new 6th Edition Kill Team rules, really enjoyed it.

I'm glad they've actually done these skirmish style rules, just wished they would rethink the price.

The very bottom of the page says they are fan made so no, but i'm guessing they are VERY close ;p

40k is as exciting as riding a pony, which doesn't sound very exciting.......

But the pony is 300 feet tall and covered in CHAINSAWS!
