Certain fortifications from SHA have the option of purchasing 6" long barricades.
(This isnt a thread about grots and the ADL)
But how high are they? am I allowed to create them so my grots can effectively draw LOS behind it to enemies?
Im considering to create 1 built by grots for grots and a second built for orks. And I believe there is no current model released yet.

RAW you could make them as tall or short as you want. However, to avoid complaints Id use the ADL as a guide.

I have seen 1nch tall sand bag barricades to scratch built ones that are almost 2 1/2 inches tall.

That's not actually true. The rules don't cover at all what to do when there is no 'official' model to represent what we want to use. So the 'RAW' would be that you can't actually use that item until GW make a model for it.

In actual practice, anything reasonable is going to be fine. I would use the ADL, or GW's old barricade/sandbag sets as rough guide...

I don't know for sure but I doubt these a 6" long though.

I would model it however you please until your fancy is adequately tickled, but only if the end result is a neat looking model.

Thank you for your replies.
I´ll find a nice turorial on building barricades, luckily Im the slowest painter ever. So it would be relatively easy to increase its height later, if need be.

They are 5 1/2" more or less, just measured mine.
