Subject: Hardcore paint stripper for metal (Plastic destroyer)

Hey guys!
So I got some old Stormboyz with metal torsos and rockets, but there are bits of glue/plastic all of them from the stripping down process. Is there anything I can use that will help soften/get rid of the Plastic and Glue while stripping the paint at the same time? I'll only be popping the metal parts so I'm not worried about Plastic melting, which I've heard is common when stripping paints.

Just use acetone or paint thinners. That'll get the job done.

cellulose thinners will do the job. leave the mini to soak overnight and you'll be left with nice clean metal pieces and a layer of sludge. just don't get any on your skin.

Have you used one before? Got any recommendations?

Here are the highlights:
Ethyl acetate and tetrahydrofurane. They will literally dissolve the plastic components, you won't even have to brush. Works like a charm and quick too.
Acetone will turn the plastic into a molten slurry that will most likely stick to the metal (i guess that's what happened at stripping)

I second the cellulose thinners. Nasty stuff (avoid contact with skin, don't breathe it). But that stuff works a treat.

This.
The strongest one Nitro Mors do is for car paint IIRC. On our acrylics it takes literally seconds. If using it, do it outside and wear SEVERAL (I cannot stress this enough) pairs of rubber gloves. The stripper will eat through them in no time.

Its absolutely god-like. Awesomely enough its actually good on plastics too and doesn't have excessive odors.
Obviously for really fethed up metals let them sit in the stuff for 24 hours or so. For plastics the paint will start to come off in as little as 4 or 5 hours.

Yeah I've used it many times. I'm not sure of brand names, but any automotive paint suppliers should have it.
