I am very interested to learn about the tactics used by Nick Nanavati for his Nurgle army that won a recent tournament.

The list is like no other competitive daemons list I have seen (ok, besides fateweaver and the horrors).

I wondered if anyone saw it in action, or has any idea how it plays?

This is the list: taken from: http://www.torrentoffire.com/3163/weekend-in-review-big-trouble-in-little-nottingham

Nick Nanavati, TOGIT RTT
Fateweaver
Epidemius
Herald of Nurgle, Exalted Reward, Exalted Locus
Herald of Nurgle, Exalted Reward, ML 1
2 x 10 Horrors of Tzeentch
1 x 10 Plaguebearers of Nurgle
9 Plague Drones, Champion w/ Greater Reward, Icon, Plague Banner
3 Soulgrinders, Mark of Nurgle, Phlegm

Obviously all the nurgle daemons power up Epidemius, but where does the damage come from besides the 3 phlegm cannons?
Where would you position Epidemius?
How would the list deal with waveserpents?

Thanks, nobody used his name or the tournament when they made threads about the list, so the search didn't work.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
The other 2 threads focus on plague drones however. I still want to see people views on the tactics of the army as a whole.

We try not to use his name because it summons him like some weird Warhammer Betelgeuse.

Getting my broom incase there is shenanigans.

His Dakka name is Yernom. PM him and he might give you some insights.

I thought his blog might have something, but he has not posted anything there for over a year,

Lol. Interesting list.

IMO, he should take Typhus + cultists/zombies in the list. Assault the enemy, then use Typhus' large blast to kill both enemies and allies alike in assault. That should bring the tally up rather quickly.

The tally in the new book only counts for wounds caused by daemons of nurgle so csm don't help.
