Ok, this might be dumb, but I want to make sure. I've scooped some vehicles on the cheap from Ebay, and they're assembled already. Just got them today and the dude glued the turrets into place! For the price I paid, I'm not too worried over it, but is this ok? I mean I don't have to actually point the turret at what I want to shoot do I? LoL

Nah its fine, most people forget to point it anyways as usually the vehicle is already pointing at the target. In short, it does not matter one bit.

there are still weapons Firing Arcs, and True Line of Sight to consider though, but as long as it LOOKS like the gun could be fixed on the target, (using common sense logic) and not be shooting its own wings off, it should be kosher.fire

So long as the vehicle's stats don't say something like the turret is locked to a 30* firing arc because of the ten-foot-high smokestacks on the front of the vehicle, then you should be fine. Some vehicles have weird sponsons or other bits that actually prevent certain weapons from firing in a full 90, 180 or 360 degree arc.
Might help to bring a pencil or a marker or something similar in size to the actual barrel, so that if a TLOS issue comes up, you can point it in the way the turret would (if it could move) and sight down it.

Its fine. Complaining about a turret glued in place would be like saying that the Rhino with the doors glued shut can no longer perform as a transport, because there is no way for the little mansies to get in

Not really. Doors are decoration, they have no in-game effect, the rules allow models to enter and leave vehicles through access points. Guns, are not decoration. They cannot be shot, but do have an in-game effect. Specifically on vehicles.
However in this case, there are rules that allow you to assume the turret can turn up to what it would if it hadn't been glued in place. So there really are no problems with it.

Sounds good guys, thanks for the feedback! Normally I always leave my turrets free to spin...but in the effort to save some coin and start a new army, I have to take what I can get, haha!

Does a drop pod with the doors glued shut block LOS whereas if the doors were open you could see through it?

Correct, but not because of any special "door" rule. Just the normal LOS rules. Models can still get out of a drop pod with the doors glued shut. Hell, you don't even have to have all the doors glued shut, you can have some open and some close.

Although that Drop Pod thing is a hot topic, I'd not try to pull that unless you don't like your opponent or your local meta plays it exclusively in that way.
Everybody I've played pops the doors, not doing so means you only care about the rules benefits of it and not about the fluff of the game.

This is not the place for the Drop Pod Discussion (DPD). There's a forty-seven page topic on YMDC for it (not exactly, but I'm not exaggerating that much).
