I decided to make a thread that is a spin-off of the Most powerful special rule? thread.
My vote would be MSS.

Wow, no mention of the Grimoire of True Names or whatever the book used in the rerollable 2++ is?
Personally, I'd say the most powerful piece of wargear in the game (not counting Forge World) is a Vendetta, but that's just me...

Phantom Titan Pulsars.
In reg. 40k the Grimoire for sure. It's effect on the game is extremely dramatic.

Reg 40k serpent shields since they are more reliable than the grimoire.
Apoc I would say gauss annihilator since they can kill any superheavies and arent hampered by fliers

Pretty much the stuff that's said here. My bet would be MSS for price or ignoring points cap the Phantom Titan Pulsars on the Revenant - 900pts for 4 Destroyer shots able to target separate units...
Oh plus a 36" movement beforehand

Obyrons Ghostwalk mantle is a really nice piece of kit, able to teleport round the battlefield at will, with (sometimes) pinpoint accuracy, and even able to teleport out of close combat. Piling in to any combat Zhandrehk is in (and then teleporting the unit out) is just icing on the cake.
The veil of darkness is not quite so good, but you can build a tremendously funny army with a couple of crypteks with them in addition to Obyron

It requires a psyker with the right abilities to make it 2++
And then you need a specific daemon to be 2++ rerollable.
And it requires the roll on grimoire not failing on you and making your invuln suffer a -2 instead (can be somewhat fixed with fateweaver admittedly). I just can't help but feel it is an odd one. Its kinda like biomancy. It can be nasty on certain guys but can only be good-decent on others. And it always has a risk of blowing up in your face spectacularly. Also there is a random chance every turn you will loose a -2 to your invuln by the warp storm table (and also a chance of gaining it. DAEMONS WHY U SO RANDOM!)
Anyways.... I really can't say. MSS, Buffmander, and then the Eldar Phantom D weapon of DOOM are all pretty annoying

Boom! Leman Russ Commander

I'll throw some into the ring Neuroweb System Jammer 2 points for a weapon that kills, on average, 16 guardsmen when said guardsmen use FRSR in a unit of 50. Has anyone else got a weapon that kills your opponent by making them blow themselves up? Some more... Shard of Anaris is pretty good - fearless can be awesome in the right units. MSSS, (not MSS, MSSS.) C&CN, PEC? Buffmander equipment? Is it wargear as in special equipment, or weapons too? Because if it's weapons I'm gonna have to throw the R'varna's cluster fire cannons into the ring. Against seekers, 4 blasts usually nets about 30-36 hits.
